United Worlds - The Light Heroes

Kyrie chuckled, "Rely on no one but yourself, and you'll go far."

 

"but where will you end up" Nulix said

 

"Where the wind takes you." Kyrie replied.

 

"you end up with nothing" Nulix corrected her

 

"That's not always a bad thing. Those who have nothing, can loose nothing."

 

"then why do you live?" Nulix asked

 

"That is what I have been trying to figure out. Why am I alive? With what I have been through, I should be dead." Kyrie looked at the ceiling blankly.

 

"like I said, your a fool" Nulix said

 

"If I am a fool, then you are lower than a fool." Kyrie looked at him, her eyes slightly more beastly.

 

"whatever you think" Nulix said

 

Kyrie chuckled and turned around to leave.

 

Geryl stood up and went in deeper in to the temple.

 

Jared was looking around the area for a way out of the temple. He overheard what the others were saying. "The Light Heroes exist you know, why else would this book name us as the new Light Heroes?" He told them.

 

Isabella looked around and saw a group of people with Jared. "hey Jared, who are they and where's Lynn?" she asked him.

 

Jared turned and saw Isabella. "Well, Lynn's stole the ship so we're stranded here. These people are, Xane, Kyrie, Nulix, Geryl and Kyzar. They're Light Heroes as well, but some of them think i'm lying." He explained.

 

"Your 'magic book' is probably electronic." Xane said.

 

"oh" Isabella said, "why would they think that? it sounds believable to me"

 

Jared sighed. "There's no battery space here." He said, shaking the book around to prove his point. "Well, Geryl seems to beleive the story, but the others don't, not sure about Kyzar though." He told Isabella.

 

"Errr it has a built in battery..." Xane said.

 

"ah, well i'm sure they'll come around" Isabella said, " and if not,then i guess you can force them can you?"
