Nulix sighed "I'm saying I have my doubts that it has not been highly exaggerated"

 

"Why do you want to help complete strangers?" Kyrie asked everyone flatly.

 

"Because it's nice?" Xane said.

 

"um... that was kinda random, and I'm when you help complete strangers... your ultimately helping yourself" Nulix said

"I...do not understand how that works..." Kyrie muttered.

 

"you emotionally gain from other people, and many other things, like if you want something like a drink, but you have no money, a friend might buy it for you" Nulix said

 

"That is not common sense. Why would others put others above themselves?" Kyrie asked, the anger returning in her voice.

 

"......Yeah." Xane said.

 

"it is common sense, and I would know" Nulix said
"but I guess you would only know that if you had friends..."

 

"True, I don't have 'friends'. They only slow you down. If having a friend means worrying about their safety ahead of yours, then it's best I remain friendless." Kyrie said as she looked at the walls.

 

Geryl sighed as he kept reading the walls.

 

"whats your meaning to live then?" Nulix asked

 

"I have no meaning. I am a wanderer." Kyrie replied in her emotionless tone.

 

Geryl laughed. A wanderer? A person who goes on and on with no meaning and life? Geryl laughed as he continued to read teh walls.

 

"then you are a fool" Nulix said

 

"Are you certain that I am the fool? Or is it the ones that tell you your destiny? Giving you no choice? And saying you live to be a 'hero'?" Kyrie looked at them with a blank expression, "Where I come from, that makes you the fool."

 

"I am no hero, and I never intend to be one" Nulix said

 

"Yet you choose to ally with the ones that have chosen their fate?"

 

Nulix grunted
