United Worlds - The Light Heroes

"I don't plan to be an anything hero." Kyrie murmured as she started to walk away.

 

Geryl stared at Jared. What do you mean?

 

"You all know the legend of the Light Heroes don't you?" Jared asked. He saw some blanks faces. He read out the story and then read the prophecy. "So this means that it's upto us to fight whatever the new evil is." Jared explained.

 

"I've got my own problems to worry about." Kyrie scowled and turned away. "I want no part in your fairytale."

 

Geryl laughed. YOu mean that story about an evil soocerer that ruled 300 years ago adn then guardians appeared and took him down? Geryl laughed. THat's a story.

 

Jared sighed. Convincing them may be the hardest thing yet. He thought.

 

Darius shook his head. "It's not. I was there."

 

Jared turned towards Darius. "What?" He asked. "You never told us that."

 

Geryl stopped laughing as he smiled. I accept this journey. It is true anyway. I have photos of the tmepl I have just visited that explains it all.

 

"How could you be there?" Xane asked and turned to Jared "This guys obviously crazy." he said pointing to Darius.

 

"I could care less about your journey. I have a journey of my own." Kyrie muttered as she continued to scowl.

 

"Calm down." Xane said to Kyrie.

 

"You think I'm not calm?" Kyrie said with an expressionless face, "You're lucky I haven't killed you yet."

 

"i only here cause i got stuck here"

 

Darius nodded. "I am crazy, but not like that."

He shrugged. "Maybe someday I'll tell you how I was there...and why. But as for now, just accept that I'm with you guys, through thick and thin. We've been brought together for a purpose, and to reject it now would be like rejecting freedom, or life itself. We have to stick together now. Your destiny has been set...even if you leave, you will find yourself drawn back to us."

He looked at Kyrie at the last few statements, his eyes boring into her.

"The worlds need your help," he said quietly. "Will you reject them?"

 

"Yes." Kyrie replied, seeming to enjoy saying it. She turned again and started to walk away.

 

Geryl sighed as he lef teh group and went back to the temple.

 

"she not the only one"

 

"If you ask me, Kyrie's the one who needs help if ya know what I mean." XAne said.

 

Darius watched her go. "You will find, one day very soon, that you cannot ignore the signs that point you towards this destiny...reject it, and the worlds will destroy you."

He didn't appear to have noticed he said it out loud. He turned to Jared.

"I suggest we leave," he said.
