Undefined Ending: Earths last days

"This is it... but it's..." Church hesitated. He looked around and saw the destruction. "Well, they aren't here now, but I do see footsteps going that way." He pointed to what seemed to be a forest like area. "It would have made sense for Kaia to go that way, there might be water there. And I am pretty sure Josh ditched out." He said looking at the outward residue of the ship taking off.

 

Furtim walked over to the ship's residue, "it seems like this is only from an hour ago... so Kaia couldn't have made it far, right?" he asked.

Joshua/Kaia walked down the hall, "see you later, Trent, I'm going to my room," he/she said, walking into Kaia's room, and shutting the door.

 

"One more light port? Just to that little patch of forest over there?" Church asked, being funny.

 

Furtim nodded, "okay," he said, and the two of them were suddenly in the forest, not too far from Mya's hideout.

Joshua/Kaia laid down on Kaia's bed, and looked into the mirror, Kaia's face, blue eyes and hair was reflected back at him/her.

Neco released his grip on Josh's neck, "next time I won't hold back," he said, as darkness streamed behind him.

 

"Um, to be honest I'm not sure, they'll be worrying and well I suppose I thought they'd make everything right again. I'm sorry" Kaia said apoligetically.

 

Mya smiled. Don't apologize. I'm always glad to help people out.

 

"So there is clearly a little river here, and most obviously she is here. But now I am lost..." Church said confused.

 

"Thank you, so shall we go?" Kaia asked heading towards the door.

Furtim looked around, then sent small beams of light probing around at the trees and rocks, "there must be at least some place where we can see signs of Kaia being here," he said.

 

"Well, now that i look over there in the light, it seems that there is a bit of unsettled dirt and rock, which could be a door. Or a trap. So I vote YOU to check it out. If it's a trap, you can just light port out." Church said a bit selfishly.

 

Furtim nodded, "whatever you say, Mr. Church," he said darkly, as he went over to the unsettled dirt, "would it be too dungeons and dragons to say, 'this is a hidden door'?" he asked.

 

"Well, let's knock." Church said walking up to the door.

 

Furtim rapped his knuckles on the hidden door, "if this turns out to be a trap, you are dead, you hear me Church?" he said.

 

Mya eyes darted to the door. Get back Kaia. Someone found out about our hiding area. Mya drew her guns and leaned against the door.

 

Furtim heard something happening behind the door, and drew his pistol, "Church, there is something in there!" he said, as he aimed the pistol at the door.

 

Church? Sounds like at least 2 guys. She yelled through the door. State your names and reason why you are here!

 

"Really? I am Church, and this is my good friend Furtim. We're looking for a girl by the name of Kaia. You seen her around? We are Re:volt, just so you're aware." Church said nervously.

 

She thought to herself. Re:volt? Seems like it since they know Kaia. She lowered her guns and slowly opened the door. I suppose you're on our side then.
