Undefined Ending: Earths last days

Kaia smiled slightly, "Wondered why you were telling me all this but okay, what is it? How have you transformed me?"

 

Joshua looked at her, "well for one thing, I took away you're teleportation power, and for a second thing, I changed one pattern in you're brain," he said, "and belive me, it took a lot of practice on other subjects to get the second one right, without killing you."

 

"Right, I'm not really sure what to say to that. How does changing the pattern in my brain affect me?" Kaia looked at Josh suspiciously.

 

Joshua grinned, "I affected a small, but important part of your memories, now, if you focus hard enough, you will be able to know who you were, what you did, before the accident, but learning these things comes at a price," he said.

 

"A price? I don't like the sound of that" Kaia replied honestly.

 

Joshua looked at her, "every bit of memory you gain will come at a price of a different memory of equal value, it won't change your personality unless you try to remember the way you thought, which is easily avoidable," he said, and then pushed a button on his belt, the sound of his stealth airplane faintly rose up from the silence.

 

"Not sure I want to remember then" Kaia looked over at the areoplane, "Awesome, now what was it you wasn't me to do?"

 

Joshua grinned, "I want you to run, to get as far away from here as you can in three hours time, at that point I will inform my supperiors of your location, we can't forget what sides we are on, can we?" he said.

Joshua jupmed upwards and grabbed a rope hanginng from the plane, and he and the plane took off verticaly, way to high up to jump to anymore.

 

Kaia's eyes widened and she swore before turning on her heels and running as fast as she could away from there. At the same time she attempted to sense the nearest source of water she could use. She could go an awful lot faster if she skated away.

 

Church woke up. He looked around, and saw the guys just standing there. "Ugh... Alright, first of all, one of you could have put me on something more comfortable than the ground. And second, are they back yet?"

 

Kaia kept running hard, she sensed the nearest water supply and altered her direction slightly. It wasn't close and may take a bit of effort to use but she had to get away, she was already starting to tire. She needed to contact the others somehow but how she did not know. She didn't even know where she was other than some destroyed town, she could try remembering but then she would lose another memory.

 

Furtim looked at him, "don't blame me, I asked if we should move you or not, but plant-man here didn't respond," he said.

Neco sent more power into Josh, making him scream in pain.

Joshua climbed up the rope, and got into the cockpit. He turned off the auto pilot, and flew the ship in stealth mode again, silent and invisible.

 

"Well thank you." Church said sarcasticly. "And since I don't see Kaia anywhere, I am guessing she is not back yet. Care to light port me to my old base, so we can check where they are?"

 

Furtim nodded, and leaned over to grab his hand, "Trent, do you want to come?" he asked.

Neco put even more power into Josh.

Joshua flew silently and invisbly through the night, back to his own base.
