Undefined Ending: Earths last days

Joshua shook his head, and walked to the very center of the town, where it appeared that nothing had happened, for a 20 foot diameter circle, the street was just like it should have been, save for what looked like the wreckage of a head-on collision, "no, bombs don't leave blank spaces," he said.

 

Kaia frowned as she looked at the untouched ground, "Well, what caused this then?"

 

Joshua walked over to the remains of a car crash, it seemed untouched by the explosion, "I belive that someone with power, imense power, was killed in this accident, and when they died, they unleashed allmost all of their power at once," he said.

 

"Woah, they must have been incredibly powerful" Kaia said as she walked over to the car crash, "Why aren't there bodies? If this area was untouched, surely the people in the car crash won't have been"

 

Josh coughed up blood.He glared at Neco and than too Greed.He returned his sight too Neco.Josh than spit his blood upon Necos face."The only thing I'm going to say is you'll never stop revolt!"he said grinning.

Greeds demonic laugh appeared.He placed his hand on Necos shoulder."Well if thats all he'll say than he's no use to us."he finished laughing.

 

Neco grinned a savage grin, and wiped the blood off his face, "you're going to be that way, right Josh? So why don't I just wrench what you know out of your mind by force," with those words, a cloud of darkness swarmed around Josh, and then went into his ears, mouth, and nose, infecting his brain.

Joshua walked over to the other car, which had a pile of ashes in the driver's seat, "the explosion might not have happend for a few feet, but the energy released still disitigrated the bodies," he said.

 

"Ah, shouldn't of asked. Anyway, who was this person? And they well known if they were so powerful?" Kaia asked curiously.

 

Joshua shook his head, "no, by the nature of this explosion, it shows that the person involved never used her powers, that she didn't even know they were there. As for who this was, her name was Miranda," he said.

 

Kaia's head shot up at the mention of that name, her forhead creased, "Miranda? So, how's she connected to me?"

 

Joshua walked over to her, "well, Church says that you look just like her, right?" he said, "so I've been looking into his past, and by extention, her past, it seems that Miranda had hidden powers, some form of spiritual."

 

"Okay, I'm listening" Kaia looked straight at him

 

Joshua walked over to Kaia, "my theory, which this explosion only goes to prove it, along with your lack of recolection, is that when Miranda died, her power forced her spirit out of her body, and into someone else," he said, "causing this explosion, and your 'accident', Kaia, you have Miranda's soul inside of you."

 

Kaia looked down at her hands as she tried to process this information, "I have somebody else inside me? How does...I don't know what to say. It just makes me wonder how much of what I am is actually me and how much is her."

 

Joshua just walked over to her, and put his hand on her shoulder, "Kaia, listen to me, you are not the person you were supposed to be, because of this incident, you should be someone else entirely, in fact, you should be two people, two different people," he said.

 

"Then how does this work? From that, I expect two personalities to be bickering inside my head, but there isn't. How can I be two different people or why am I not? This is so confusing" Kaia sighed and looked at him "Why me? I don't even know who I am anymore"

 

Joshua sighed, "durring the accident, your personality was fused with Miranda's, the way you are acting right now is a combination," he said, "and it is you because the origonal Kaia Moonshine was in the car with Miranda."

 

Kaia blinked a few times, "Wait, what? Surely I'd have been killed as well and how come I wasn't found...actually no, I don't know where I was found. I'm sorry, it's just a lot to take in. Things were an awful lot simpler when I was plain Kaia Moonshine."

 

Joshua looked at her, "when Miranda died, her spirit went inside you, it completly re-made your body, healing of all wounds, and teleporting you away."

 

"Makes me wonder what I used to look like but honestly I'm not sure I want to know everything about my old life. I've got a new life and new friends, I don't miss what I don't remember. But still, thank you, at least now I know, even if it left me with more questions than I started with and was a lot more complicated than I ever imagined" Kaia smiled sightly at him.

 

Joshua sent a wave of transformation energy into Kaia, "I need you to do one more thing for me," he said.
