    I always used to make my parents watch that show with me they had no say in the matter. I always liked Uncle from the start. and thanks you have now reminded me that I need to get the entire collection of that awesome show on DVD now!.

    They couldn't refuse to let me watch the show because if they did they knew my mum would not get any sleep on the week ends. My mum has always worked nights and I used that to my advantage. And I found a full box set of all five seasons region zero for $35.99 plus $7.99 postage and packing.

    It would be extrotion, not blackmail. But due to the guardianship and nature of the act, it couldn't be taken into court. In this situation the guardians would take the legal burden, and since you can't blackmail yourself there is no crime.

    Should be noted that the parents would have other options, they just considered sitting down with their child to watch TV to be the best option.

    I'm not "getting after you", it's mostly just satirizing and messing with you, not intending to hurt your feelings.

    Still though, when you like those things, it just bugs me for an unknown reason.
