Unacceptable Age of People Living at Parents' Home?

    Its hard to live with your parents as you get older, I find. I've been fighting with my parents more these past two years then my whole life. If your parents can't live alone, then stay with them, or else find someone to share a house with if you can't afford it alone.

    Ya I do think you should move out as soon as you are able.

    But I also agree that sometimes EVENTS delay those plans or reverse them.

    After the age of 18 or AT LEAST 21, I think you should leave. Now, if it's the number 23 that you're still living with your parents, you might go insane.​

    most people around the 18-22 age range dont' even WANT to live with their parents anymore. i know some families that are want their kids out right after high school, not even waiting, they go apartment hunting the day RIGHT after graduation.

    Personally I feel it's acceptable to live with your parents until you're out of college [if you choose to go] and/or have a stable job. The age range can vary depending upon the amount of schooling you choose to have and how much money you're making, but I'd say after age 26 it is just a little pathetic.

    Keeping that in mind, a lot of people choose not to continue living at home. In their teens people get tired of the restrictions their parents do [or do not?] put on them, or they just want to give being alone a shot.

    ... and if you're married/in a serious relationship and you're still living at home, then that's just weird.

    well if you want to talk in the most practical way possible, no there is not an unacceptable stage. However from a social stand point, if your like in your mid to late 20's (out of college or even in college) and you live with your parents, it is kind of weird I'd say.
