So today, I decided that I wanted to actually redeem my Digital Copy codes for movies before they expired. Thing is, many of them are asking me to either register the movie for Vudu or Flixster or Amazon or Google ...what is going on? Can I only have that movie linked to one of them or what? If so, which is better? I already registered Pacific Rim which I guess only goes to Flixster...

I've found that sometimes you can use the same code on various sites. A lot of the movies I have are linked between one of those services and iTunes.

Personally, I prefer using Flixter. It's a lot more responsive than others, it's simple, and it's one of those sites that you can get from any device. Another reason why I like it is because I can link it to my facebook, making for easy access. I've had problems with Vudu specifically due to logging in, plus being very unresponsive. The only time I've used it was for Frozen, and that's simply because they pre-order code I was given for the digital download was only for Vudu.

I've actually tried setting up an ultraviolet account, it really didn't work out too well. The concept of theirs where you can redeem a code for a movie and watch it digitally is a great idea, but since ultraviolet is comprised of many individual studios and services its a mess. For example, I registered my batman movies but to do it I had to have a ultraviolet account and a warner bros account. Also since ultraviolet has no xbox or ps3/4 apps you also need a vudu account so you can watch your shows and movies. It's just a mess...

It's mainly so that I can stream movies off of my phone without taking up room on my phone's memory. Of course, that requires a decent signal, but that's far smaller an issue for me than storage space.

I'm not going to lie, I'm so used to acquiring movies my way that when I read the thread title I had no idea what you were saying.

I'd always heard about these things because of commercials running while I watched my Blu-rays, but never thought about actually using them until the code for a $10 upgrade for Assassin's Creed IV expired. I was pretty pissed that they never put the expiration date for using the code (not just claiming it) in clear, easy-to-find text.
