OOC: Alright, Darknight has once again inspired me to copy from him, I loved his little story yesterday, so I wrote one of my own on a character that is not as known, the Virus. You better review or else:

    BIC:

Imagine this. Imagine everything you ever knew, anything and everything you could possibly think of. Now imagine it gone. Off the face of the World, dead. You cant. It is impossible.

The Virus. A being that has been pondered by many, feared by more, and respected by none. What was it about the swiveled silk mannered shaded pitch black that made this creature unlike any other? what was it about the single eye of yellow with a calm red heart that led billion’s into fear? In Truth it was all of these feature’s that made the creature so perfect in a word, and fearful by another.

It was the Perfect Life Form, for the very fact that it did not Live. The Virus. What was it inside, thousands have wanted the answer, none have gotten remotely close. These would be what one would have guessed that the Virus would be pondering and laughing of as it flew through space, but in reality that is nothing more then what it is stated to be, a guess by random.

No… what the Virus was really dreaming off, what its being was forced to ponder as it stared into the heat of the Collamtus Sun, was its life, and weather it would ever get back home.

    Many, Many Years Ago.

His name would be Zeit , and he was dead. His blood stained clothing would sway in the wind, as he turned to the world’s side, a bloody and burnt blade sliding through him. His green cotton cloak would slide in the wind, as his worn out cotton vest and robe’s would be drenched by the pouring blood that once flew through his body. His long dirty Woodlyn brown hair would stick to his sweaty and still face. His eye’s would at last stare out at the world surrounding him, the fog of the worlds bellow him, the world he never saw, as the single looming clouded sky fell down the winter found snow drizzled down onto him, he fell to the ground but not before a single drop of blood fell off the cliff he stood upon, and fell. The last life of a man, still burning hotter then a sun’s crisp surface, would fall. Fall past the worlds they knew and loved, the world he knew and loved, the world I loved. It would fall past the fog of the mountain’s that would stand, the world in a blur turned black and red instead of the pure light that shun down from the smooth crack’s within the cloud above. It would fall, and fall. Down into the pits, the world of fools, the world below. It would land in another man’s wound. It would land directly beside a dead man’s blade, that was stabbed within him, It would land in-between the blade and his pierced skin, letting only a small percent of the red liquid, into the dead mans body, and it flew and hit his heart, his dead heart. The blood drop had the life of the dead, and as it hit the dead heart, and it too died, at that second Zeit would lose his thoughts, at that moment all parts of him would die. He would Die.

Zeit’s eye’s would open as he stood atop the throne of thorn’s, the hollow tree’s around him burnt in the cold air, the once beautiful leave’s of October would burn on the ground of the snowy garden. The small area that he called home alit, the snowy crevice that he had lived burnt to the ground, the single sky covering cloud loomed over as a single snowless whole sent a small shot of light down.

Zeit would walk up to his once magnificent tree’s, and picked the remainder of one off the ground’s beside them. In his warm woolen glove’s he healed a Fruit that was Wight with what looked like green tattoo’s covering it. He lifter it too his cry and moistures mouth, and toke a bight. Its juice’s collided with his worn out gum’s and tong, this was too be the last Light Fruit he would eat. He had destroyed his home, his gardened outdoor home within two grudging mountains to go on a quest, a quest for the Gold Chest.

Why would one desire a Gold Chest? For Gold was the Key to get to the world below the Mountain’s and Fog that Zeit called home, Gold was the Key.

And so, Zeit would set off past his frozen gardened thrown, and climb up one of the mountain’s. The freezing torture’s where only matched by his blistering determination, he had to get the chest, he had to be free. Suddenly the rock above him that was layered with snow crashed down upon his form. As the snow blasted his being, and his numb glove clayed hand’s started to lose grip of the ledge he hung off of, laughter could be heard.

Zeit’s eye’s propelled with a hatred at another being’s cackle’s, he would force himself through the snow, and land on the ground below to face his foe. And sure enough, in the ground where his dead garden home once stood, was a small bald man wearing a hood. “Knagy!” Zeit’s spat, his voice burning up the crisp morning air. The man simple smiled, Knagy was his name. He lived atop a nearby mountain’s edge, Him and Zeit had always corralled over who the mountain’s belong too, eventually the two gave up and stayed on there side’s, hoping never too se the other. But this day would not be the case, Knagy must have heard about the Gold Chest too, and he would stop at nothing to get it.

“Zeit, Zeit, Zeit. I wonder what you could be doing, climbing the mountain’s is a dangerous tour” Knagy’s hustle voice would silently mock and toy, as he began too pace around his rival.

“My business is mine alone, my suggestion is that you leave my side, before I end you” Zeit’s calm yet hate filled voice would reply, as he too strolled around a nearby hollow tree, that loomed in his dead garden.

Knagy toke a fighting stance “Those are fighting words my friend, so please come clean, you are after the Gold Chest aren’t you?” He accused, his voice filled with disgust, as he toke his Lute Out.

Zeit put a hand on his broadsword’s end, as it managed to gleam In the high morning’s clouded sun. “Yes, I am after the Chest, what of it Knagy? Are you after the Chest of Gold as well?” He asked mockingly, as he pulled his sword out to Knagy’s neck.

“I might be…” Knagy replied, as the the snow erupted from the ground’s, and turned to ice as it flew between Zeit’s blade and Knagy’s neck. Knagy was now playing his Lute rapidly, as he glided on the falling snow flake’s above them.

Zeit was furiously bashing the Ice and Water attack’s that would fly at him. His single blade chopping through the ice, as he dodged the tidal waved water’s. Knagy finally flew down and made a sword of ice, Zeit saw his chance, and toke it.

Knagy was about to attack with his water formed blade, when a broadsword was pelted at him and slid right through the middle of his weapon, and trimmed his finger’s. He fell to the ground, as Zeit caught his broadsword that fell back down, and then looked at his rival. Hand bleeding, finger’s blistered, yet still smiling.

“It would seem that both of us have grown skill with time” Knagy announced, Zeit gave a grudging nod in agreement “A proposal then? Let us have a race to the Gold Chest, the first one there gets the prize?” He asked, Knagy smiled “If that’s the case, you might wish to catch up…” He said, as he suddenly got propelled up ward by an ice pillar.

Zeit grunted and began to climb the wall of mighty rock covered with a layer of iced snow that lay before him.

And so, the two would face the mountain’s side, and race. They would climb over the hardest grave’s, and skip over the smallest crevasses. Little did they know that the real challenge would appear once they where half way up the mountain’s edge only…

On a snowy cliff’s edge, a numb and beaten gloved hand would grasp, and propel the body forward. This would be the body of Zeit, his head a blur, his body aching for a chance to relieve itself. But he could not stop now, he was almost there, he was almost there. His keen eye’s picked up the foot print’s in front of him that lay within the snow, Knagy had already made it through, at this rate he was sure too lose the race.

With a reluctant sigh, Zeit would walk of the footprint’s, which lead to a cave. A cave filled with hundred’s of cristal’s that would reflect the smallest of thing’s in perfection. He sighed as he walked down the long sharp reflected hall of stone, hoping that he would get out soon. Tight space’s with sharp edge’s where not his thing…

As he walked, the pathway seemed to get smaller, and the crystal’s larger. His hand’s began to warm up, and a drop of sweat fell from his face. He would walk until he saw the light that would pour in from the end of the reflective tunnel.

A large grin would come onto his face, as he ran to the light, the blinding light. He ran out, and fell. He would look up to see the end of the cave had been nothing more then a hole in the wall that led to a cliff.

Zeit’s first reaction was too grab onto the wall that would blur past the side of him, but as his hand would get cut open from the jagged rock’s flying out ward. With a gasp of pain he grabbed his arm that had a river of blood flowing from it, and tried to grab his broadsword. He rammed it in the wall while holding his arm, and he slowly slid to a stop.

With a sigh of relief, Zeit would look at his wounded arm, and then at the ground below him. The snowless ground was not many feet away from where he was hanging, and so, with a sigh, he would unlatch his broadsword and land on the ground.

Something had cracked in his leg, and he held it tight. After a second of attending to his wounds, he would walk once more in the pain that he had, blood dripping from his arm and leg’s, leaving a nice trail of red for anyone to follow.

After half an hour in the lightless pathway deep within the mountain he had gazed up at for so many years, he would walk, and walk. The pain burning within him, his gaze drifting of sleep, his inside’s burning of hunger. He would soon be asleep, that he knew, but he would first have to get out of the tunnel…. He would have to…. Get out.

He fell to his knee’s, and his eye’s would close… sleep was so close… so close. “No!” Yelled a voice, his eye’s would snap open, and the sight that grated him was not friendly.

Knagy was circling a giant monster made out of snow, Zeit would instantly jump up, and grab his broadsword out, before charging towards the beast.

Knagy would send a wave of ice at the monstrosity, but it would just pelt them away, before sending such an attack back. Knagy would dodge, but not quit avoid. An ice pellet would slice through his arm like a speeding bullet, he would look at his arm in shock and not even notice more heading towards him.

Zeit watched with fear and anger, as Knagy flew to the wall, ice bullet deep within his flesh, one inch’s away from his heart. Zeit’s eye’s dropped as he ran over to Knagy’s body, and picked him up.

The monster would then charge at Zeit, who dodged and began to run past the deadly beast. He would get to a wall, and began to climb with his broadsword and the edge of Knagy’s Lute, while the body of his nemesis and arch rival hung from his arms. The Monster would screech from below, but where it would look up, its pray would be gone.

Zeit gave a sigh of relief as he and Knagy’s body lay atop the cliff’s edge, with a sigh, he would walk again, Knagy in hand. And soon enough, they would get out of the cave and make it to a nice flat ledge of the mountain.

Knagy’s eye’s would soon open, he lay on the ground, cover by his cloak. His worn out and chipped Lute lay beside him, bandage’s covered his body. Zeit was by a camp fire just off him. Zeit’s hand’s where in the flame, as Knagy got up, but Zeit would not avert his gaze to his upped rival.

And there was silence, the cloud in the sky was covered for the moon, and the snow lay waste around them, they both hated the silence, yet neither one wished to break it. But it was broken.

The beautiful sound of a well played Lute filled Zeit’s ear’s, he looked over his shoulder to see Knagy walk up to him, Lute in hand. They would sit together and listening to the music, but not before Zeit would whisper a song. The two played into the sun’s rising, when they finally stopped.

Zeit looked Knagy in the eye’s, he did the same “Thank you for saving my life, Zeit” The words slowly escaped Knagy’s lips.

A smile was visible on Zeit’s worn out face “A truce?” He suggested, Knagy thought for a moment before grabbing Zeit’s hand into a shake “Truce” He replied warmly.

And so the two brave warrior’s would climb the sky’s that the mount’s touched, until they reached the top. Zeit’s hands where warn out and dry as they walked up the final rock onto the top of the highest mountain, there was a single cave at the top, this was it. This would be the Gold Chest.

“Ready?” Zeit asked over his shoulder, Knagy gave but a warm nod, before the two entered the burning hot cave. As they walked, sweet would fall from there face’s, flame’s would leaped from the spiked rock’s that covered the burning area. The two would walk until they reached a all red spiked room. At the far end a small man stood with a smile, he had messy black hair, blue clothing, and colorless eyes.

“Good to See you!” The man exclaimed, the two got in a battle pose.

“Where’s the Gold Chest?!?” Knagy demanded, as Zeit nodded in agreement.

“Oh? So eager to get your prize, eh Jaxel? And of course the mighty Virus!” The man exclaimed, as the two warrior’s looked puzzled. The man burst into laughter at the sight, and whipped a fake tear away “Don’t tell me you have forgotten me already!?! Its I, your good friend, you know. Hojan Cortex Fukuyama Kyba! You might not know me now, but in the future you will. You will have destroyed my life, well its payback time” Hojan said, opening the box. There was a single scream, and then all went dark.

His name would be Zeit, he would stumble out of the cave with out any one else.
