At the moment everyone is just talking normally with each other. Everyone is kinda bored though since it's so close to have surgery to become a pretty.
Also one of the people from the smoke is in the ugly town and one of the people from special circumstances is trying to find him. That's about it

bic: They both walked started to walk to the movie theater, an awkward silence between them for the first few moments.

 

*Ryan glanced down at the ground nerveously trying to think of something to say*
"So...you happy you get to be a pretty soon....?" He asked her calmly altough he knew that what she said would make him decide what he did next.

 

"...Well, I don't know... I miss a lot of my old friends... but it doesn't mean I can't make new ones here. Say, why did you go to The Smoke and not turn pretty? Or has your birthday not come yet...." She said, hoping her answer satisfied him.

 

*Ryan glanced over at her and sighed*
"Becoming pretty isn't as perfect as it may seem" He told her with a sigh.

 

"Hhhhhhmmmm... really? Like what?" she asked questioningly.

 

"If I tell you.....then you'll have to come to live in the smoke with me" He told her knowing that if she was ever traced back to knowing him that she could get in big trouble
