Ugh....

I'm having a stress attack...

My friend invited me to go out of town to a church thing...and we're going to be staying overnight at a hotel for two days in an hour or so. Everyone else can't wait for it, but I'm freaking out about it. My parents say I'm overreacting, but...the thought of staying at a hotel without them just freaks me out... -.- I've already gone to the nurse three times already...I know, it must sound quite immature, but ...

 

Wait, you're scared of being seperated from your parents for a couple of days?

 

Umm , don't be afraid im sure you will have fin^^ Even though I don't go to church and stuff(Im not religious:P)
But im sure you will have fun and don't worry beeing away from your parentes is not scary^^I like it^^

 

I knowww...everyone else is telling me that too. XD I bet this sounds so immature...damn.

 

I hate sleeping in strange rooms, so you're not alone in stressing. It'll be ok though. Once your with your friends there you'll have a good time and relax.

Your parents will be happy to have you back after the weekend, and they'll appreciate that you missed them.

i go to loads of church things outta town, sometimes i go down to england, but i get where your coming from, it was kinda weird the first time. but don't worry you got your friend. :D

 

It's natural to think the worst case scenerio to things before they happen, but when you go there, the fear will go and you will enjoy yourself.

Some people aren't good away from parents, I had a friend like that, he could do one night away, but a weekend or more, would scare him, but he got over it and is planning to go to uni, which is like years away from parents.

 

as long as your with good friends, im sure you'll be fine. i get homesick pretty easy. i was at a camp for 2 weeks, and after the first 2 days i was basically tearing my hair out with anger and sadness. i was like, 10 or 11 and i hated every minute of it. bible camps are not fun to me, even with my friends.

 

Yes it does... I'm not commenting any further on this because you'll see for yourself that you're overreacting...

As Darkandroid said, most people tend to think of the worst-case scenario of what might happen. But just go with your friends and have fun. If anything goes wrong, just call your parents or the adults going with you...there are adults going with you, right?
