    Well sh*t, Ubisoft really ain't gonna benefit from this, and they could use some good publicity for once in their life.

    ​I can't see most folk playing these games knowing to disable the plug-in. I hope Ubisoft at least inform folk to do so.

    Cases like these are common, I remember many many years ago when I had installed a game, Gamespy had installed some adware/spyware/whatever in the computer.
    They're harmless really, and as long as they don't interrupt me I don't mind.

    Now that's funny! Now Ubi will have to either fix/secure their DRM or get rid of it altogether.

    oh wow, that's messed up. i hate rootkits. i actually refused to buy Borderlands because of the same thing.
