Carlisle can't die in Midnight Sun O.o That would cause a huge rift in the story and would need for all the other books to be re-written.

I know, I know. I was thinking out loud. If Midnight Sun had been released before Breaking Dawn, I would almost bet on Carlisle kicking the bucket, simply because the audience would have seen how important to Edward he was.

 

I would have cried if Carlisle had died. Honestly, I would have. He's my favorite vampire in the entire series.

 

Carlisle isn't just important to Edward. He's important to the series itself. If he had a sudden death, the whole book would be screwed up in so many places. Without Carlisle, the Cullens aren't the Cullens. If he did pass on, one: they'd be heartbroken and it'd effect them greatly, and two: I don't know how the Cullens would go on without his wisdom. Yeah, I'm sure they could hold their own when it came to reasoning with the Volturi and all that, but they might be a little...off if it happened. You know what I mean?

I've been waiting for like EVER for this particular one to come out D:

I reckon that Stephenie Meyers already gave Robert (the leading Edward role in the movie Twilight) her first copy of Midnight sun so that he would be able to understand it from Edwards point of view.

 

I've already read the first chapter and I love it. Reading it from the beginning from Edward's side will probably bring the story to a whole new meaning, I hope.

 

There's another book coming out? Meh, I'm still trying to make myself get into this series. My friends/family think I'm strange since I'm not addicted to it yet. I guess all of the Manga I've been readin recently corrupted my mind, X_X. Is this series really THAT good (not meaning to hijack this thread -_- )?

honestly harry potter book are challenging, because the reason why twilight was long it was font was big and midnight sun should be the same length as twilight since it is twilight in edwards veiw, if noy a few pages longer

It's impossible to not get attached to Carlisle. He's just a sweet father figure who has a lovable aura ^^

 

With out Carlisle the book its self isnt as whole, must have the super smart doctor! ^__^
*sighs* but im still emotionally crippled because there was no BellaXJacob..like im shattered.
I thought the book was sort of written just like a fanfiction almost, its a weird thing to say but thats what it feels like when you think about the story

 

Agreed. Carlisle is one of the key characters to the series.

I'm...okay with it, I guess. It tore me apart in the beginning when they couldn't be together, but I knew that Breaking Dawn was going to be about Bella and Edward getting married. I knew there wasn't really a chance for poor Jacob Black. But I think Renesmee made up for it in the end. =P

However, it does kind of upset me about Renesmee and Jake. Hello?! What about random fanfiction? I'm in love with Jacob Black, who said that I can't write a random story about him imprinting on one of my characters? Haha. =P

I also love your Jacob Black addiction. He's like a drug, isn't he? You just can't get enough of him!

 

Yeah, the whole "knock-up" thing was kinda fan-fictiony.
