But why those chess pieces in paticular?

Oh, and so that's what Midnight Sun is. Well I suppose getting inside Edward's head could be interesting. When is it out? Someone earlier mentioned that she gave a copy to Robert Pattinson. (Thank you Riku_Garra, I never would have got that name without your siggy!) I suppose that means it cannot be far off.

The particular pieces is the only thing that throws my theory >.<

It's true that Stephenie did give Robert a unfinished manuscript of Midnight Sun to help him get into character. I'm GUESSING that it will be out in a year or two. ^^

    Wait a second!

You mean to tell me that Edward is going to have his own POV of all of the events?

SWEET!! That means we get to experience what it's like for him to have all those thoughts he listens to and everything.

No. Just Twilight. Stephenie said that it's too depressing to do the rest of the books from his point of view. If you go to her website www.stepheniemeyer.com, you can read the first chapter of Midnight Sun. It's very good.

Well, from what Riku_Garra told me, we only get to see his POV on Twlight events.

It will definitely help develop his character, as before he seemed slightly Gary Stu-ish. (Don't shoot!)

Oh, well that's okay. I loved the first one, so it'd be nice to see what went through is mind when he stopped the car (even though we already kinda know) and all that. Especially in the lab room when he has to sit next to her.

I'll probably have to read it, but then I'll get addicted and have to read more, which I'm unable to do, so that'd kinda stink.

Why are you unable to read more? Do you have a reading limit for the day, where your eyes just seize up and stop working when viewing text?

Haha. No. Riku_Gaara said FIRST chapter. I assumed that there wouldn't be any more to read.

I have not read it for the same reason. My friend keeps trying to get me to, but I just can't do it because there is nothing for afterward. I guess I will just have to wait 1-2 years for the actual book to come out.

Okay, I read it. Great stuff, by the way. I like it more than Twilight. Finally we can truely see how silly Bella was in Twilight.

Go ahead, read it as what it was intended to be; a character building exercise.

    Oh Yeah!

It's like seeing a dog walk on it's hine legs. xDD

When Steph's done with Edwards POV I think I'll die... because we all want to be in his head..

    >_>

I know what you mean about wanting more. XD I've read what she has on the site over and over and over ^^ It's amazing to see Edward's restraint.

I agree there, too. Maybe she hasn't found the right person yet after all. I feel like I have (oh God, please let me be right xD) and I know I'd react the same way if she left >_< Or Edward. Because Edward is quite awesome =D

I don't believe she is pathetic but just really down. She says she loves Edward so much, and it's obvious she does by what the book states. I think it's okay for her to go into "Zombie mode" because of all that she's been through with him.
Yet, I do think that state lasted a bit too long and getting to the end of it, I did believe that maybe Bella was going a bit over the top. But I can't relate to her so I didn't think too much of it.

Restraint? He was planning on killing a whole class, simply for Bella. A gust of wind and a well timed bell saved him.

But he easily could have told her to follow. He could have offered to lead her to her next class as an excuse to get her alone. He lasted a whole hour sitting next to her. He could have asked to be excused and then not come back to class. But he stayed and held himself in control. Granted, he was thinking of ways of how to do what he so badly wanted to, but then Carlisle came to his thoughts. I think Carlisle is the root of his self control.

Yes. Now that I have read that chapter of Midnight sun, I wonder why Carlisle has not been killed off yet. Usually those figures end up dying. (E.g Dumbledore, Gandalf.)

Sad but true. I was so scared that he would die in Breaking Dawn. I couldn't think of any good reason he would though. ^^'

No good plot reason, but for themes of books, usually the cornerstone dies.

Although I suppose it would make more sense to kill him off after Midnight Sun got released, considering how important he is to Edward. That way it would really put the effect of his death into perspective.
