I've never read the books. I'm a huge fan of vampires, but only in a horror setting. Do the books have any horror/action at all?

So far I'm not planning on reading through these. But I MAY if I get convinced to.

I've skimmed through before. I read a few chapters for out of being bored, and never liked it. The author's writing skill is not bad, but I just dont believe it should be as big a book as many fans think it is.

Well I like the series. I saw the movie and now I'm reading the books, all I can say is that I'm addicted. Probably because of how Bella and Edward seemed on screen, she was playing her role brilliant by seeming so fragile and he loving her and being careful but still they're both still risking.
I like how they make up for each other, in their relationship, and I think that is what made me like both the series and what I've read of the books so far.

I'm not really into the romance thing. Does it focus more on romance or action?

I believe you can find similar things on websites like quizilla.(and some do it much better)

Now, I'm not saying the twilight books are bad, because I've never read them and my writting probably fails to a higher degree, but the plot is so overused by unnoficial fangirl stories.

So this really isn't innovative, and I think meyer could think of something much more original.

I just got the bok yesterday and I'm really enjoying it. Novels that are wrtieen in the style that Twilight is have always intrigued me, and Twilight is also very well written with a plot for guys to like, too.

I've never read any of them, but I've looked them up and know a bit about them. They don't sound appealing at all. The premise is kind of really dumb (not to mention completely unoriginal), for one thing.

    And yes, I'm male.

I'm kinda surprised to say that I did like it. I'm not normally in to these kinds of teen-romance things, but the book was rather captivating, even though the bad guy didn't appear till quite near to the end.
It wasn't really a masterpiece of literacy, but it was really entertaining, even to an all-sword-hacking-action-fantasy-scifi-geek like me.

I tryed the book, got half way and couldn't read anymore. I just felt like it wasn't going anywhere and i'd be there, bored to death, for hours on end. I felt the same when reading StormBreaker.
