i honestly like JK Rowling, kudos for her, i mean im really happy for her, i mean she was BROKE she was so broke she could not make extra copies SO SHE WROTE THEM LIKE 5 TIMES i mean making a (harry potter #1 was like 300 pages right?) so that's like 1500 pages to type o_0' and i can tell she loves to make these books


As for Stephanie im not saying i hate her but well i just don't like her that much
(i do like the fact she likes Muse xD) but she seems like a fangirl of Anne Rice
and i do like the fact she deviated from the Stake ans Reflectionless tradition but SPARKLING? i mean c'monnnnnn

i use to absolutely love the series but now I'm over it.
I still kind of like it but some of it is starting to peeve me off >.>​

 

I used to love the series but now I can't stand it. Like you said, it seemed like a fangirl wrote them and to tell you the truth, it could've been written a whole lot better.

 

I couldn't finish the first book. I just couldn't. Between Sparkly!Edward, and the fact that her heart stopped when she kissed him in the hospital (does he turn her off THAT much?) just made me shake my head. So I read it to make fun of it.

Dangit, where's that macro? *digs through files*

 

I read the first one and I was like um ok. Iread the second and was like oooo action I read the first chapter in the third and was hating the books. She drags them out to long and it bores me.

 

It would've been a better book if bella didn't describe edward as a marble sculpture all the time either >.>
that part really annoyed me.​

 

i read the twilight series and im not sure what i like or dislike cuz it can be really annoying and gay but sometimes its not

 

What annoys me is all the screaming fangirls/boys over this stupid book. I swear, this book has started some sort of Twilight cult or something. I mean, everywhere I turn it's Twilight this and Twilight that. And don't mention the people who are like "OMG Edward is so hot even though he's just a fictional character who will never exist but in my pathetic dreams."


As for the book itself? It's certainly nothing special.

 

Ohh trust me, there are millions of Jacob fangirls (unfortunately there are more Edward fans). I loved Jacob in the first and second books (what a sweetheart!) but in the third book he turned into this fricking a-hole. In the fourth book he becomes even worse (he's a pedophile) but I haven't actually read it, unless you count excerpts.

Don't get me wrong--Twilight had potential. Too bad Stephenie Meyer can't write for her life. It's honestly a shame. Not being sarcastic at all.

 

well i found the book okay i guess but i have no desire to read the other three books as i disagree with fangirls and myers overall writing style(over half the book it was describing either edward or how much bella hates her life) besides did you notice its like a tacky vampire remak of tuckeverlasting, i meen not entirly but if you think about it its got virtually the same plott.

I haven't read the series and I don't plan to.I'm told, "Its a good book you should read it!" Yeah no.I don't want to read it because all of the fangirls and I'm afraid of becoming a fangirl.That's how some people are in my school.And also since its a romance novel,never been a fan of romance.Romance bores me to death.​

I love the books, but now i begining to dislike it, the darn fangirls ruined the fun for me...this is what i mostly hear when twilight is brought up. "OMFG edward is so god-damn hot!" Fan-girl squee, and i walk away. But me and my friend were having this argument over jachob being a pedo-bear. I think he is..XD

 

I hate Twilight for three simple words. Cirque Du Freak. Cirque is a better vampire series by a LOOOOOOOONG shot. If you liked Twilight even a little, check out Cirque, its a 12 book series and I couldn't put down one of them.

 

I've seen those books so many times, it's not even funny. I have to read them then, if i see them so much and you said it's good.

 

Started reading the first book cause of a friend.

Stopped reading after reading about how perfect Edward is for the 50th time.

I could type volumes on how bad this series is, just by having read a quarter of the first book alone.

 

one thing i've been thinking about, are they saying edward and jacob are hot because of the actors in the movie... or because of the way they are descibed in the book. everytime i think about it, it scares me 0_0​

 

i know, i have to say they got ugly actors for the characters (some of them at least) Jacob looks like he is Real from I Love New York and Im not saying the one for Edward aint cause he is SOOOO cute in Harry Potter as Cedric Diggory xD

 

Any Guys Like Twilight?

Im just wondering, because im like the only boy (well theres another, but he started reading it right after me...but i think he's a pouser..he fell into the hype) at school who really liked it before the movie was annouced. And i was wondering if anyone here liked it OTHER than the hype.
