Twilight Series [General Discussion Thread]

In my opinion, I don't think that Bella was really 'pathetic'. I mean some of the things she does get on my nerves but the things I can relate to with her is her habit of getting into accidents (i've gotten 9 stitches in my forhead once XD) I borrowed Twilight from my library and finished the next morning. I am currently reading New Moon and I am up to chapter 2.

EDIT: actually I finished the whole series now XD

 

I don't think she's at all pathetic. I like her, she has an edge I think- but never would she be pathetic, in Twilight she prepares to fight those thugs following her. But I can see what your friend is saying.

 

I've read the entire book in 2 days XD
Got sort of scared ( in the '0.o' way) with the parts on the island and on the cottage XD. I was like "What are they doing- OMG!!! THEY WERE DOING THAT?!" lolz

I wasn't entirely satisfied with the ending though ;A; It was an awesome book in all but the ending was sort of 'sudden' for me.​

It's sad that people would do something as low as that. And it's because of those people that we may not be able to get to read this book for a long time.

 

I agree. The ending of Breaking Dawn made me want to e-mail Stephine and demand more. I thought it was a bit of a vague ending. I knew I wasn't the only one that wasn't satisfied. But the seires as a whole was, in a word, AMAZING.

 

true the series was amazing, even better than the Harry Potter series. For me anyway.

 

I agree with you there. Vampires beat out wizards any day. ^.~

I laughed my head off when Bella found out that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. lolz​

 

I still wish that she had gotten her punch in. Jacob deserved it.

 

well technically she has already punched him.
But unfortunately, she broke her hand.
Oh gawd, I bawled my eyes out when edward left in new moon, and he didn't com back until like page 400 or something. So sad...

Anywho, I have to admit something as well. Jacob did seem a little bit more 'mature' in Breaking Dawn. He really got on my nerves in the other books when he solely believed that Bella was in love with her and not edward.​

 

I so wanna read this! It seems so popular, so I have to check it out! I already have Twilight on hold at my school library, and my sister has Breaking Dawn, so once I read the first three, I can read this.X3

 

trust me, you will love it. It't only took me 5 days to read the entire series. XD
Even my English teacher said I read too much XDD​

 

@_@ Wow, you read fast. The fastest I've read a big novel was Harry Potter 6, in a week. I'm sure I will love it. Popular series are popular for a reason.

I get it from my mother. We use to have competitions to see who could read the ENTIRE harry potter series the fastest.​

 

We-ell, she did, but it wasn't much of a punch. She deserves another go, now that she's a vampire.

I tried doing that~

My brother, who's an extremely slow reader, ended up winning DX

But I read The whole Twilight Series in a few days, too. I needed to make up on lost sleep afterwards, & I looked like L from Death Note for a while, but it was totally worth it~ :D

 

lol you're right, it is worth it.
When I finished Breaking Dawn in two days, it was because I had to work on an english essay and I had to stop reading.​

I kind of liked the ending..but there are some things I didn't like :I (WAITWAITWAAAIT DON'T ATTACK ME YET):

*1.I was expecting the big fucktastic fight D: so I kind of thought it was gay..I mean,they made such a big deal about and in the end no ****ing fight .__.

2.I wanted Nessie to grow up and shiz x: like,all grown-up sixteen-ish looking.

I am not saying I didn't like the ending..I was just expecting those things to happen . .. that's all ee;

I know there are a lot people who loved the ending and others that didn't like it so much.​

I didn't like either. I really wanted MORE! I kept flipping the page back and forth looking for invisible text... ANYTHING. I still can't accept that it's over ='(
