I hated how it was too happy in the book. >.> like I wanted some fist fights or something cool. ALSO... Bella is a clutz as a human, I hated how she was so like stable as a vampire and it amazed everyone. >.> Sorry xDD

But as PB~ said.. about the rating of this book, people are very upset about the hole... sexual content between Bella and Edward... I still think that she should have given the baby up... and gone with Jacob... <333

But yes... I see that it's effecting almost as much people as most... It's the number one topic that me and my friends talk about... is the hole "Island" and "Cottage" scene...
Like before... vampires can't reproduce.. she mentioned that before.. and it's like she broke a law or something...

 

Yeah, I was expecting more action as well, but beggars can't be choosers.

Yeah, I agree that it was really sweet and kind of Esme to give them that cottage.

That's what really annoyed me too. She told us they can't reproduce, then bam! Bella gets pregnant. I wasn't too thrilled about it, but she wrote what she wanted to wrote, even though she was taking back something she already told us.
But, I have to admit, Renesseme is adorable.

 

Agreed. She's sooooo adorable. But it was a BIG shocker... to me anyways. That she started to grow so fast.. I thought she was gonna die.. but then after seeing that other boy whosnameleavemymindallthetime came up and he was okay and stuff... but now that I think about it... I think.. I wish the book could have been better some how... it feels weird.. like I'm satisfied but the I'm not.

 

Eh, I kind of expected it, but I didn't think she'd actually put it in the book.

Yeah, after talking about the book with a few friends, in the back of my mind I was thinking, "You know, it could of been a lot better." Now that I talk about it with some ofmy friends, I don't like it as much anymore. I'm...just not into it as much. Stephanie could of done a lot better writing this.

I still have a very strong feeling that she's going to write from Renesseme's point of view. >>

 

Dude, I fine this soooo weird. It's like, we were once BIG crazy fan girls.. because the finally book in Bella's view is done and here. Then we read it... think hard about it... then talk about it with some friends.. and then start wishing odd things. I mean Steph is awesome, I love the series. But there's just that oddddd feeeeeling there...

I wanna series in Jacobs view, lol.

A series in Jacob's view would be awesome, and probably a little more....tragic, I would say. He went through a lot, so it'd be interesting to hear about it all in his perspective.

But I did enjoy the chapters he got in Breaking Dawn. I loved those.

But I do agree with the rest of you. Something wasn't right. BD felt kind of...rushed and...different. The cottage and Esme's Island scenes weren't really needed a whole lot. We all know what happens after the wedding. And Bella kept talking about it forever. XD

It felt weird reading all that...
She'd write about the after wedding crap.. the she'd continue with the story.. and I'd be like really lost and I'd have to re-read it... because she'd just go ont like the hole thing was in parenthesis...that right there bugged me..

I'm disappointed. But... I also kind of want to kick Stephenie Meyer. I mean, if, say... JK Rowling had cancelled the release of Deathly Hallows when that manuscript was leaked, we would never have gotten it. It just kinda shows, IMO, that Stephenie hasn't quite learned to let things go the way they do.

Like... so what if it was leaked? It's not like the vast majority of Twilight fans are going to go download it and read it and be like "OMG ROUGH DRAFT!" and such. She should publish it anyway, I think; people who read the rough draft can see the changes, and I know, for instance, I'd still buy it even if I wind up reading the draft. Regardless of the leak, if she thinks it wasn't leaked maliciously, then why put it on hold?

 

Actually, I was also thinking that as well. I mean, before it was posted on Twilighters I didn't even know that it had gotten leaked, and no one I know did either, until I told them. I really just wish she would of continued with the manuscript.

 

Come to think of it >.> we all pretty much know the BASIC storyline that the book will be anyway o_O it isn't like anything major will be spoiled as it is just Twilight from a different perspective.

I am actually pretty surprised she has put it on hold as a result of this, if anything it only shows how much her works are in demand.​

Are you freakin' kidding me? Those stupid leakers. Seriously, I'm mega-pissed right now. I just read the first chapter (well...I guess "flawed" chapter) of Midnight Sun last night...and now she's holding it off? Meaning it's gonna take even longer to get here?

It's held off "indefinitely". Right now, we don't even know if it'll be released.

Anyway, that totally sucks ;_;

 

I'm equally as devastated as everyone above, but I understand why she did this. It wouldn't have the same effect on the readers, the mystery is gone. If I were in her shoes, I think I would've done the same thing.
