    hmm...you know when you go to log in on websites. It can remember what usernames you have used there...it would be getting rid of that too woulnd't it?

    the cookies are the things that remember your computer so it can automaticly log in and other things like that.

    oh and Trace, do you think it would be bad if you log in here and then close the page. because when I come back to this site it says i'm not logged in so I log in again. And I tend to log in alot and forget to log off when i'm done. So do you think after a while it might get me more and more cookies to this site to the point where it could slow down my computer?

    im not sure....i always leave it logged on and close the page,and it never slows my computer,but it might be different with others
