Gabriel moved from the dance floor over to Zack and Toby, "Is there a problem, boys?" Gabriel recognized Toby and Zack from somewhere a long time ago but he didn't let it show in his calm face. Putting up an easy smile.

 

"Uh No..."Toby said glancing at him,then doing a double take"Do I know you from somewhere?"

"Amy."Zack said wrenching himself free of Toby's grip "My cousin is your death...seriously....he's so selfish...he could've left you alone...but he didnt so each time you did....when you got pregnant for the first time,with your first son...not Forrest...this was way back in the 1900's the baby killed you because of what it was...because of what its father was....Toby didnt stop me when I-"

"Enough Zack."he said looking at Amy's shocked expression

 

Eliza followed him to Zack and Toby, standing quietly behind him. She listed to them and was slightly shocked, as she attempted to make sense of what was being said.

 

"Toby....is this true....?"She asked

"No...he's drunk....dont-"

"Oh my god....your lying arent you? You let that happen to me? you let him Kill our baby?"she stepped back from him

 

Gabriel frowned, "The balance has shifted...and not in our favor." He rested a hand on Zack's shoulder, "I think you've done enough. Ma'am, please, listen to Toby, he can explain...I'm sure he can."

 

Eliza turned expectantly to Toby, hoping he had some answer for this.

The figure had reappeared hidden in a crowd, fairly close to them, listening to every word.

 

Gabriel turned quickly, "Who the hell is watching us!?" his voice boomed and he caught the lone man, "Hey, you!"

 

Amy shook her head,backing away still "You call yourself a Angel.....what angel would allow a child to die?"

"He would've died anyway....he was sick...very sick."

"she needs to see.....for herself.."Zack said flicking his wirst,a black door of darkness appered,"Go in there...and you can see from the first time you met him....to the last time you died...and maybe you can change the past."

 

Gabriel roared, disrupting the party. "Change the Past! Are you stupid? She could alter so many things by just her presence." Gabriel gripped Zack's shirt front, "She could kill my son! She could kill so many of my children!" Gabriel's mind whirled with all the faces and names of children he'd had since falling with Sorcha.

 

"It wont be your past she changes....it'll be her's Then she cane see which of us is better for her Toby...."Zack gave a grin

 

Gabriel bared his teeth in a feral snarl, "I don't care who's past she changes. For the incompetent idiot who travels back in time, she could alter many futures depending on who she talks to." Gabriel let him go and gestured to the rip in time, "Fine, go. See if I care. Just don't screw with my life. Leave me alone."

 

Rita stormed up to Zack. "But, logically, if she alters something in her past, it will affect us, if she alters something to much, we may have never met, none of us, some of us might of not existed, the battle 5 years ago could've been lost, don't you see? It's far to risky to meddle in the past without knowledge of what it might do to the present!"

 

Gabriel shot a dark look at her, "Then what are you suggesting? That we go with her and make sure she doesn't mess up our lives?" He sighed and though, Young angels...what can you do...even mortals want to understand us.

 

"I'm suggesting that she doesn't go at all, even if we go with her, like you said, our presence may mess up the present."

 

"They're right...Amy you cant- Amy no!"


"I want to see Toby....I want to know"with that she stepped into Zack's portal,with promptly dissappered

 

Rita gasped as Amy vanished into the portal "!!!, Toby, we've got to go after her!"

 

"Zack open another portal...Now !

 

Rita looked at Zack, hopefully, he would co-operate. If not, they may have to make him.

 

"she needs to know she wants to know..."

 

"But there's consequences to that!"
