Truth through time.

Gabriel gave her a melting smile, "Gabriel. Care to dance? My wife doesn't much like dancing."

 

"Sure, if your wife wouldn't mind that is" Eliza said with a childish grin on her face.

In a corner a lone brooding figure watched them dance, silently observing the actions of the night.

 

"I just wanna talk Amy...is that so bad?"

" yes "

 

Gabriel twirled her and grinned, "I think she'll be fine. Sorcha doesn't get jealous often."

Sorcha gave a dainty wave to Gabriel and the woman he was dancing with. She didn't recognize most of her classmates. She only knew Toby from something vauge Gabriel had told her.

 

Toby gritted his teeth,if he went over next to Zack,he might just punch him this time...then Amy would not be pleased with either of them

 

Eliza nodded and seeing Sorcha's wave, happily waved back, it was nice to see someone who had a more layed back attitude. Also, Gabriel wasn't a half bad dancer and she was quite enjoying herself dancing.

The figure noted all this in his mind, his attention also being drawn by Toby, Zach and Amy. It was being quite interesting as the nights events drew out.

 

Toby's eyes narrowed

 

Gabriel danced easily with his new partner. "You got anybody special in your life?" Dancing made Gabriel's tongue loose.

 

"Amy...you know you can pick me and not him..."

 

"Aww, not really except my little girl. Her father was an idiot who left me as soon as I got pregnant, shame I didn't realise it sooner. So not really, how about you?" Eliza answered honestly as she danced, she was thouroghly enjoying this.

 

Rita stood in the corner, arms folded, beaming from ear to ear. Even though she was smiling she wasn't in a good mood, she wasn't enjoying herself, she never did get the chance to enjoy herself. She glanced at a mysterious figure in the corner, wandering why he was staring so intently at her friends.

 

The figure siliently watched the pair dance, though he could feel a pair of eyes on him, which made him slightly uncomfortable. He liked to be the watcher, not the watched.

 

Rita's eyes narrowed at the guy but eventually she looked away and walked over in his direction, pretending not to know he was there.

 

The figure internally sighed in releif as they lost interest, although now they intregued him. He resisted the urge to turn round and look at them, but out of the corner of his eye he glimpsed her. He assured himself he wouldn know more before the night was out, it was just a matter of patience.

 

Gabriel's smile only brightened, "My wife over there, Sorcha, and my beloved newborn son. I couldn't be a happier man." His smile died a little, "Though somedays if does feel like I fell from Heaven." He laughed and twirled her, his gray eyes turning an auburn colour, "There's nothing better than a day mixed with joy and sorrow."

 

"Yeah" She agreed, she had almost forgot about everyone else as they danced, "You know what though, if I've fallen from heaven, I don't wanna go back" She laughed.

 

Gabriel's eyes changed back to gray and a sad look covered his face as he mumbled quietly, "I do." He continued to dance with her and forced his smile to return, "So, what's your lovely little girl's name?"

 

"Oh, sorry" She muttered before repling with a smile as she moved around him, "April, and your little son?"

 

Gabriel cast a glance around, "Gabranth. It's an old name but I figure Sorcha will want another child so we'll give the name thing another shot with that one."

OOC: I just realized Devlin can't be alive if April is a little kid.

 

OOC: Yeah, Eliza hasn't even had Katryn yet, who is Ashley's mother.

BIC: "Yeah, well I think it's a really nice name anyway" Eliza said to him as she continued to dance with him.

The mysterious person watched them still, observing there every move. As well as looking at Rita out of the corner of his eye.
