"Why not? I'll tell you wh-"He was cut off by a fimiliar voice.A voice that made Zack back up from Rita,looking annoyed now more than ever

"I'll check the car Amy! Hang on!"

His lip curled up nastily as he watched Toby duck his blonde head in to boot of the car,digging through a mess only he could make in such a small space.

 

"Aww look, it's your wee cuz, you gonna give him a big hug?"

 

His eyes narrowed

Toby spun around,a girls handbag in his hand "Rita?"he said squinting

 

"Oh hey Toby, nice handbag y'got there"

 

"Matches my eyes right?"he grinned,moving it behind his back"Good to see you,"he turned to Zack,Toby had grown taller than him by atleast a head"You on the other hand...its not so good.What're you doing here?"

"I was invited here.Like you,your girlfriend and your two old gal-pal's,do you even have any guy friends?"

 

"Why Zack, do you? The only 'friend' of yours I can see is girly over there. Maybe you were so desperate, you decided to brainwash a random citezen into thinking you were her 'sweetheart'."

 

"Nah....she's a angel....so she's not that random..."he grinned"Im done with Mortal girls,they're too....needy...and breakable...I mean Francessica's mother-"

"who's Francessica?"

"My baby girl of course...well she's no baby...she's five...Hey....Hows Forrest doing? Oh thats right....you dont know...poor kid...parents didnt want him."

Toby gritted his teeth,clearly his son was a touchy subject,"It was for his own good."

 

Rita looked puzzled. "Toby.....what happened to Forrest? Is he okay?"

 

"We...gave him up for adoption when we left school....for his own protection,we havent told anyone where he is."

 

Eliza had been biting her lip while she listened to Rita argue with Zack and when Toby came over, but now she just looked at him in shock, "You seriously gave him up? But you made a great family and now you're not there to protect him and poor child" She paused, feeling a little guilty, "But yeah, you probably made the right choice. It must have been hard for you."

 

Rita gave Zack a skeptical look. "Especially hard..."

 

Sorcha's limo pulled to a stop in the parking lot. Gabriel jumped out like a cat and offered her his hand, "My lady?" Ignoring him, she stood out of the car. Her old fashioned dress brushing against him. Gabriel smiled charmingly, "So, any friends here at school you want to visit?"

 

"Yeah it was hard...but a life like the one he would have had...is no life for a child."

"Yawn. If you'll excuse me I have better things to be doing than listening to sob stories..."

"Hiya Amy.."Zack said plopping himself down on Toby's reccently vacant seat "How are you sweetie?"

"Go away Zacharis...your drunk."

"Pfft,Im not that drunk...most people here are drunk,Including your boyfriend and possibly you yourself and everyone else here."he laughed

 

Gabriel mingled with the people on the dance floor. He'd drank at least seventeen cups of alcohol and still his mind was sharp.

Sorcha sighed and watched him dance. He moved like water no matter what he did. He was damn sexy and she couldn't stay mad at him. Sipping a cup of who knows what, she felt a warmth inside her.

 

Eliza smiled, she'd been sensible with her drink but she was not going to let that stop her having fun. She quietly got up of her chair and moved onto the dance floor, her body already relaxing as just moving with the music. She discreatly used her power so she went straight through a few peoples hips instead of bumping into them or having to make an effort to get around them.

 

Toby moved quickly through the dancing people,managing to do it without touching anyone,he slowed to a stop seeing his cousin with Amy

 

Gabriel tried to catch Eliza's wrist as she moved through the dancing people and his hand when right though her, "Whoops, hehe, looks like I've picked the wrong dance partner!"

 

Eliza turned, hearing Gabriel, "Oh sorry about that" She said over the music, "I was just trying not to bump into people. I'm Eliza by the way"

 

"Zack...go away seriously...I dont want to be seen with you."
