Pirates. Actual pirates valued individualism and sought freedom from a nation's oppression. They had a bit of soul to them. Ninjas are conditioned to be worthless as people but worthy as killers of them. I have more respect for pirates by default, even if I do not agree with all of them.

Since no one else is around, I'll take another truth from you please.

 

Hmm, I hate picking favorites, but I suppose right now it would have to be my First Mate, Loxare. And if she was in a lot of pain, and there was no hope for cure, she was about to die, I would say euthanize. It's painless and quick, and would spare her pain. But also, I would take into account her feelings and wishes. If she told me beforehand that she would not want to be euthanized, I would just sit tight and try to help her through it.

Now imagine that you could completely rewrite this member's personality to make them fit your standards, and there was no way anyone would know it was you who had caused this change. Would you do it? Why or why not?

I don't think I would, no, because even if I dislike the way that person acts, I respect individuality too much to try to erase that.
Of course, had you asked me this a year or so ago, my god complex would have made me say yes, just because it would have given me the feeling of power.
