    I with for a reversal of Jayn's dare. Let us see how cruel you can be.

    I dare you to end every post you post on KHV with a unique insult.

    If you quote someone else (or are directing something at someone specifically), insult the one you quoted after. If you post in someone's thread, directing the post at the thread starter, insult the starter afterwards.

    You may stop doing this an hour after you first post on KHV tomorrow.

    Clarifications;

    • Unique insult means that you cannot copy-pasta the same insult each time, not to give them a strange insult.
    • An insult meaning;

    • All insults must be relevant to whom you're replying to/directing your comment at, and should in no way compliment anyone. They may not be sarcastic.
    • By creating this dare, I reserve the right to close any loopholes you create and edit if you misinterpret or purposely dance around my intention in an inoffensive or apparent manner.

    I want a truth.

    It works.

    You've been up late, reading creepy stories. Most of them are uninspired and poorly written. Do they honestly expect to scare anyone with this tripe? You're just about out of patience for these things when you come across a promising one. Title: "It's Rude to Stare."

    The premise is simple. You're sure you've heard it a few times in different forms. It plays on that old "the abyss gazes also into you" axiom. What you do, is you enter a room with a mirror. You enter from a heavily lighted room, then turn off all the lights and shut the doors.

    In the period before your eyes adjust, when the whole room is still a blur of black, you stare into the mirror. Then, says the article, instead of adjusting naturally, your eyes will divine a single outline in the darkness. Barely discernible: a shade lighter than pure black. It's person-shaped--you-shaped. After a few more moments, two dots of light form where the eyes would be.

    The story warns you not to stare. They don't like it when you stare.

    It sounds like delightful fun, so you give it a shot. For extra oomph, you look almost right at the light in your room before you step into the vanity, shut the door, turn off the lights, and look into the mirror. You stare for a few moments, surroundings indistinguishable.

    And it works.

    An outline appears in the black.

    After a moment, it opens its eyes.

    What do you do?

    Pass. I don't take dares that harm other people.

    If you'd like to devise a punishment, go ahead. Otherwise, I'll bow out of the thread for a number of days/pages as a substitute.

    I'm usually not a curious person, but I can say that something like this does pique my interest greatly, I would probably do it if I could gain the courage. I'm a wimp.

    Anyway, I would definitely stare after it opened its eyes. I'd be dying to know what happened after that, so I would wait.

    Whatever happens happens.

    @Makaze;
    Would you sacrifice yourself for the one you love?

    Says the guy who claimed that he would lose all respect for me if I passed on the picture dare.

    Fine... Write me a love letter, handwritten, sign it with your real name, and send it to me. I will decide whether to post it or not.

    Not knowingly. I would end up doing it, but my intent would be to survive and save them the entire time.

    Remember to ask truth or dare, guys.

    Truth or dare?

    That was different. You wouldn't hurt anyone with that, least of all yourself, you handsome devil.

    I'll write it, but I'm not signing it. Privacy and the worth of my name mean a lot more to me than a game.

    There seems to be a direct contradiction between these two statements.

    You choose.

    A name is an instant connection. It's something that can be memorized, relayed, replicated. A photo is a degree removed from that. And it's not only a privacy issue. A face is something to remember you by; a name defines you.

    If you want to turn this into a debate, let's take it out of the thread.

    Photos often contain exif data which can be used to obtain a LOT of information about a person. Plus you're more likely to remember a person by their name than their faces, and some people even change their names/have someone change their name

    All right, I'll concede the privacy point. It was a stupid thing to say. But my name is symbolic to me. I don't want it getting around.

    I dislike that this game is getting into personal information. If someone doesn't want to give something about themseles, they don't. Makaze decided to let people decide for him. I never give personal information, even pictures, unless it's to someone close to me. I don't care if it's a dare.

    Anyway, Truth or dare?
    Truth.

    Hmmmmmmm.

    You must personally go to the profiles of the 3 members you dislike most and compliment them, they must be valid compliments and at least 2 lines long.

    Your house is on fire. You and your family's most precious belongings are all in a closet (because they can), but your family and/or pets are all knocked out on the other side of the house. You know they won't be killed by the fire, but they might be burned or hurt.
    What do you do?

    well I live in a bungalow with about a minute from one end to the other.

    so I would probably take out the cat first, then my father, before attempting to somehow move my mother, upon failing to do so I would simple pray shes ok.
