Give or take a few hours, you've been waiting all day. You're at the hospital and you found out that your significant other is terribly sick, though you don't know what's wrong with her.

The doctor finally comes out from her hospital room and comes to you. You stand with urgency, waiting to hear the news about her.

She's going to die, the doctor tells you, unless she has a kidney transplant. There are currently no donors near the hospital, but you know for a fact that your blood type matches her. You don't tell this to the doctor just yet as you think it over.

Would you give your kidney to your lover? Even if that meant you may not make it yourself?

 

I would. The payoff would be worth the effort put in, because I love her.

 

Hmm. Not really a fan of this question, but I suppose answering it is the least I can do for lying to you about the Symphony.

Where do I even begin . . . It's hard to say what I love most about you without revealing things about yourself and myself. For one, you actually care, even when my own parents don't, you worry, even when they don't. And you reassure me that I have nothing to worry about when I'm freaking out about leaving and things, even though I'm still not completely sure. Hard to handle, y'know?

There are a lot of other things I could say, but they're all a bit personal, so . . . yeah.

Ooh, that's a tough one to admit.
Does it still count if you also loved that person? If so, then it was my girlfriend of the time, approximately 4/5 years ago.
If not, we're looking at further back than that, which gets difficult to remember.

 

It does, however, I have a lot of trouble believing that you have not lusted in four years.

For you, I choose . . . Truth, since I can't think of anything to dare, since we've done a lot of personal things.

You have a small tangerine and a strawberry.

The tangerine has a fairly thick peel, and on the inside, it's a little sour, but sweet nonetheless. It'll take you a bit to peel it and then eat it.

Then you have the strawberry, all ready to eat, and it's very sweet but something of an acquired taste, as a few people aren't fond of strawberries.

You like both of them, but mommy said you can only have one, and the other is going to someone else eventually.

Which are you going to choose? Which do you like more?

 

I will choose the strawberry. I like strawberries more than I like tangerines... But under certain circumstances. I might eat the tangerine for the Vitamin C it brings. I might be hungry, and the tangerine will be more filling. But the strawberry is sweet and tasty, and it looks pretty on top of everything.

I will probably take the strawberry.

Very few people would be able to elicit that sort of feeling in me. However, if we're talking about any level of it at all, no matter how insignificant, then yes, there is a far more recent one; an ex of mine whom I still see on a regular basis. It's more like a small sexual interest than full-blown lust, which is why I overlooked it in my initial response.
Is that sufficient?

 

It is. I view lust as a sexual interest. Actively wanting to take someone to bed is lusting.
