@Makaze - I believe I owe you a truth from earlier. Sorry it took so long.
You are forced to enter a tournament and are allowed to choose a melee weapon to take with you into the matches. What do you choose, why, and do you think you would actually stand a chance of winning the tournament?

Truth or Dare?*

 

Kill... those four letters are so strong, you never even realized how much power they hold until they dance across your mind, all you can think about. You stand slowly, looking around for Him, the one who did this.
Blood drips from your fingers, the blood of that who you hold most dear. You glance down, they're lying there, cold. Eyes, wide open but expressionless, hands loosely pressed against the wound, no longer with the strength to hold on.
Dead. Again, only four little letters, but with such emotion intertwined within. Your friend is dead, and you aim to kill. You turn and walk away, searching. Searching for Him.
Your heart beats erratically, or, maybe it's not beating at all. You can't tell, all you know is that you feel nothing, no pain, no grief, not even love. The only thing you can feel right now is a need, a drive to kill the man who did this.
Nothing will distract you from this mission. You swear off everything that you once found pleasing, you promise to not enjoy a moment of your life until the life of your friend is avenged. You will search for all your life, just waiting for the right time to Kill.

Names are unimportant. The question I'm gonna ask you is this: Do you think that in a similar situation, someone murdered whoever you hold most dear, idk if that'd be a friend, a girlfriend, a brother or sister, it doesn't matter. Would you have the same reaction as the character in this story? If not, what would you do?

 

I think that, at first, I would be enraged at whoever was actually responsible. I would likely try to kill them, and if I succeeded, I would then want to kill myself, but be unable to. Or perhaps their death would be enough to make me do it; I can't tell. Either way, I wouldn't function properly anymore.

Who do you consider the most dangerous member on this forum? What do you think they would or could do that makes them dangerous? Why?

Assuming that I cannot use poisons... I would choose a thick piece of steel with a hook at the end, like a crow bar, but the length of a sword.

I choose it because it is effective for both blocking and attacking and has a nice feeling of weight in my hands. You did not say that contestants could wear armor. They would be easy to kill with such a weapon if I played my cards well.

I would stand some chance. It depends on how many people are fighting and how much experience they will have. If they are more experienced than I am, then not really, but otherwise, yes.

Disappointing, but I understand. I should maybe tone down my dares. It is too easy to forget that what was written is factual, real-- easy to forget, it seems fictional to me. A wicked man, but I'll admit, I like his writing style. Trollish. Gruesome but his style of writing is not bad, reading his letters.

Ok, ok. Something less crude. Wear socks on your hands for four days? At home. If anyone asks, it is totally 'in'.
