You have the choice between these two wishes: you will have the abilty to succeed at everything you try, or you will have the ability to be perfectly happy and peaceful with whatever life throws at you for the rest of your life.

    What do you choose?

Also, I'll take a truth please.

Succeed at anything I try. I would instantly try ridiculous things on purpose, just so they succeeded. And I'm creative, so I'd manage it.

Between Love, and Laughter, which would you say is more important to ones life, and why?

Hmm. I think Love, 'cause without love, every relationship is based on convenience and selfish gain. Not just the romantic kind of love, either, all kinds of love. The love between a parent and their child, take that away and the parent only puts up with the child as long as that child is convenient and useful to them. A silly example would be in A Series of Unfortunate Events, book six, when Esme Squalor adopts the Baudelaires because "Orphans are in right now," and when they aren't, she betrays them to Count Olaf.

The love between one person and another as friends, take that away and the friendship dies, one person only puts up with the other person as long as he can get something out of him. The second the friendship gets between one and his personal ambitions, the friendship is finished.

And then the romantic love, again, it only works as long as the relationship is convenient and gets something for the one in the most power. Take away love, and every romantic relationship is nothing more than a satisfaction trip, and once the strongest one has gotten all they want, the relationship is over.

So yeah, I think that laughter is very important, but love definitely is most important.

    I'll take a dare, please.

If you could wake up tomorrow and be smarter, better looking, and more talented, but in exchange, you lost ten years of your life, would you do it?

    Truth, please.

What was probably the most embarrasing thing that's ever happened to you? Sorry if you've already been asked this before.

I can't remember exactly when this happened, but it was when I was a little kid. I wasn't embarrassed then, because I didn't know what I said, but I'm a bit embarrassed now. My family and I were going to a McDonald's in the middle of the night. I told them to order me a hamburger, but without anything on it (because I don't like stuff on my burgers, that's the way I am). I went to pee, got back into the car, and then we left with our food. About a mile out, they pass back our food. I noticed that my burger, the one marked "special", meaning that mine had nothing on it, had pickles, ketchup, and a bunch of other crap I didn't want.

So, back then, I liked using big words that I knew because I could. What I wanted to say was "There's a bunch of condiments on my burger!". Instead, what came out of my mouth was "Mom, there's condoms on my burger!". Yeah, my parents jumped a bit. XD

You do not have to type the no conditions. It wastes time and energy.

For your truth, why do you like The World Ends with You? Be thorough, talking about the plot elements of the game as much if not more than the aesthetics.

Well, I like it for a number of reasons, starting with the plot.

I think that the game really teaches a good message, that your world, your life, is not just about you.
In the beginning of the game, Neku's world really ends with him. He lives by himself, for himself, blocking the noise of the crowds out with his headphones, shutting out any chance at friendships he might have had.
But as the game goes on, he begins to open his heart to the people around him, learning to trust his partners, and help other people. He begins to understand that in order to truly enjoy himself, in order to find true happiness, he needed to step outside of his self-actualization loop and expand his world to include the people he met. With all the pain of the world going on around him, it was all too easy to just turn up the music and walk away, but until he started to expand, he never was really happy.

By the time he reached the end of the game, it showed that although he was still growing, he had learned a lot, and then at the end of the game, before they rolled the credits, they flashed the title, but it was changed. "The World Begins With You." And it does. Your world starts with yourself, but that's just the beginning. You need to look past that, see what else lies in store, so you can change yourself for the better.

This is a great message, and it was one I needed to hear. When I first played the game, I was a lot like Neku, therefore, I didn't have any friends, and I can tell you, I was never happy. Not for a second. But after I played TWEWY, I started trying to expand my world, I started trying to help anybody who needed it, understand what they were trying to say, see where they were coming from, and I am now much happier. In fact, Neku would be the main focus in my avvy-post template, except that he's a dude, and I'm a girl, and I get confused enough as it is with most other members on this site, I don't wanna confuse anyone else. Besides, I like Shiki's hat.

I also like the basic gameplay, the format of the game was thrilling, a life or death race in the city, enemies at every turn,
the fate of an entire city resting on the outcome of a game,
it's all pretty thrilling. And the battle system was fun, I liked the almost total customization you could do with your pins, finding out what was best for you, and then strengthening that until you were almost unbeatable.

And the I liked how even after the game was over,
there was a whole second plotline to be discovered within the secret reports and the other day. Even though it only took me about a week to beat the main storyline, I still had several months of playing time before I really understood everything that was going on. Fascinating plot twist, at the end, by the way. Did NOT see that coming.

There were a lot of things I didn't agree with, there is a lot of underlying agenda that you might not see at first glance, but once you sort out all the extra stuff, the core of the message is the same, even if the delivery was seasoned.

So, a recap. I like TWEWY because
    1. It has a great message.
    2. I have emotional attachments to it.
    3. The gameplay was challenging and fun.
    4. It had enough after-story plot to keep my attention, and give me something to do after the main game was over.

    So there you have it.

Sigh, and here I thought it looked good on both skins. You really are very picky, Makaze. But since you asked, how's this for now?

No, because being all of those things still doesn't mean people will automatically "love me". You see if I wanted all of those things just to satisfy myself then that would be very unhealthy as it is an unrealistic goal. People don't change so why would me changing help in any way. If anything I would just get a shallow girl who only cares because I have a "pretty face".

Really? I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I'll put spoilers around everything that looks like it might contain key potlines. I really am sorry, I thought I did a good job of not revealing story details.

On a side note, why did you specifically ask me to explain why I liked the plot if you didn't wish to read any plot? You say you wish I had put spoiler tags around parts, so you would know not to read it. If you're not going to read it, why ask me specifically to include it in my summary? That makes little sense.
