I don't think I would be able to choose, and I wouldn't believe that I could die. That is the truth. I would try to find a way out of it on my own.

That depends. If I knew the person, I would consider whether, in my opinion, they deserved happiness more than me. I'd rather not live at all than lead a miserable life. Though I would put most people's lives ahead of my own. I'd have to know someone was a true asshole before I refused to take a bullet for them. OR they'd have to be really old. Like, over 75 and on the brink of death anyway.

So in essence, I am pretty much fine with stealing someone else's happiness, but I wouldn't be able to live with the guilt of being the reason why someone else is dead.
