@Jayn - Sorry that the last chapter was that long, I'm still practicing on this. I'm really glad you're enjoying them anyway, and I apologize for making them a tad . . . depressing. It'll get better~

Chapter Three: Continuing On

You wake up the next morning, staring up at the ceiling. It's a new day. You feel like a bit of a new you, after all, you didn't kill yourself last night, and with good reason. You're never going to give up on the fact that you could see your brother again some day. You feel sort of revitalized, a new life has been filled with in you, you've got a new reason for living, although it's not as powerful as your brother, it's just as driving – they took him away from you, and you want to see him again.

There is a knock on your door, and then it opens. Lilbueno walks in and he tells you that he's been keeping the other subjects and scientists away from you all of this time because he knows the emotional suffering you've been put through, but he tells you he can't do it for much longer. The head scientist [1] says that it's time to move on, or you'll be exterminated.

You tell him that it's okay now, you intend to continue just as you always have. In you head, though, there's a lot more going on than you let on. You're formulating a plan – you will see your brother again.

In training, you fight just as good, just as hard, even a little more passionately; you're going to get better. You're going to escape this place and you know who you have to find. RvR. The man in the suit who was there that night, he'll know what happened to Fuzzy, you know it.

You need more time to plan, and you're going to need help. You don't know if Lilbueno would be willing at all, but it's at least worth a chancing, then again, you don't even know if you want his help – he may have sympathy for you, but he is still a man of science. [2] If not, you're going to need two other people who will help you, and you may know just the two. [3] [4]

A small dragon-like creature, winged and snake-like with two hind legs. Various solid colours. If you know the fire-lizards from the Pern series, then you know these.

I am not sure that I would name them. I do not like naming things. I would call them dragons for convenience, but no scientific name comes to mind.

I am sure that I would not share them. They would be my discovery, and I would not give them up for some organization to monopolize.

Not sure I have one, truthfully. Nothing comes to mind right now...
The funniest thing that's happened is being misheard, the only one of which I can remember had the result being slightly too offensive to repeat right now.

You're required to choose between your closest friend or your entire family after a major arguement. Choosing one will result in never seeing or hearing of the other again, even in passing. Which do you pick?

 

Boring...

My closest friend, no competition. My family would have outlived their usefulness.

Depends. I could be homeless as well... But, I would probably be willing to give him a few pennies. It depends on how often I see homeless people.
