Chapter Two: Lifeless

You've declined LilBueno's offer to have your memory wipe, and with good reason – you don't want to forget FuzzyBlueLights, he means so much to you, and it would be outrageous, even the thought, to forget him. You love him.

But they've taken him away from you. What now?

For days on end after, you're a lifeless doll. You ignore everyone, peers, superiors, your hunger, your thirst, your health, the only thing you do is sit against the wall next to your bed and stare down at the sheets. You know that the scientists are getting mad, but you don't care; they're the reason your brother is gone. You . . . you don't know if you hate them though – to be honest, you've never hated anyone, but them . . . They took away your only real consolation in this life of yours.

They took your purpose for living.

The first movement you've made in days, and it's to grab a blade you kept hidden under your mattress. You have it now – you have your life in your hands. Make or break, you can take your pain away. [1]

1; I wouldn't.

2; I've had suicidal thoughts before, but I've never thought of a good enough reason to end my life. In this scenario, I probably wouldn't either. I don't take suicide very lightly, and would keep living and cling to the hope that I would see my brother again someday. I would feel like I would be throwing away that chance if I I would probably keep the blade as a weapon of some sort to use against others.

Here we go. :3

You are 24 years old. You've created quite a name for yourself, establishing who you are, along with who is really there for you. It is New Year's Eve, and you are celebrating with your friends. You are currently dating a lovely young woman, who is currently with you at the celebration. You've noticed that a few men have asked her to a drink, or to dance, but she modestly declines, coming over to you for the drinks and dancing. Around the midnight hour, you notice your date has been busy with another man, talking and laughing. He's quite the charmer, isn't he? He seems to know how to make your girl smile. You soon hear the triumphant count down commence, making you sweat, knowing that your date is not going to be your first kiss of the new year. You start to make your way towards the two, your date, now that you mention it, looks a bit tipsy. The man is inching closer to her, showing his intent, your date being ever-so absent-minded at the occurrence. You reach the two, as the countdown is to 10.

You are 38 when you get into a devastating car accident. When you wake, you're standing in an area with no floor, windows, or walls. You can't feel your lungs expanding, or your heart beating. You feel like nothing but air. It's obvious that you're dead. When you think back on your life, you realize you've a pretty boring one. You lived your life, but you were never very ambitious about anything. You didn't accomplish much, and you didn't go for any of your dreams.

You are offered another chance at your life. A chance to get it right and live life with no regrets. You will still die at the same place and time, but you can chose when you'll go back.

1; Between ages 1-36years, what age would you like to revive from?

2; Are there any regrets in your life now that you'd like to go back and fix? If so, what do you regret that has already happened? If you have no regrets, what's something hypothetical you would regret? In other words, a decision you could have made that would cause you to regret it?
