Loneliness. I can cope with absolutely anything else, so long as I don't have to be on my own with it.

Not much to say really, there's no doubt we're flawed but what isn't. One person's flaw is another's perfection so it balances out. I think we should have been given superpowers. We're boring in that aspect.

If you could change 3 things about yourself what would they be?

I would give myself the potential to shift my world as a dream according to my need.

This sounds dull, but probably no one. Fiction is fiction. Meeting a fictional character to me would just be annoying. In the end, a fictional character was created by someone. So I believe that they would be trapped to having the opinions and responses previously thought out by their creator and nothing more. I would rather leave certain things up to my imagination and keep the character alive there than meet them and have it confirmed that they are only a product of someone else's imagination. ​

The Beast: Part Seven -- Set Up
Part six here.

She looks pretty human to you, but you turn back to PaW anyway and frown. You want to ask what she is, but it takes a while to form the words. It's not as though you were treat her any differently, right? So what does it really matter? Still... She could have said something. You figure this might have something to do with why she left her old village. You sigh, feeling a headache come on. PaW asks you if you would like to know what Saxima is. [#1]

Before you answer, the sound of angry villagers reaches your ears. They're at the front entrance demanding that you come meet them. Seems like Noroz got here first. You can hear a strong male's voice edging them on. You turn away from What? and PaW, going back to Saxima's bedside and picking her up gently in your arms. There are two places that you know of that you can go for safety. [#2].

2. You can either take a secret door to behind the castle and escape that way (you'll be outside), or you can take a secret passage underground and travel that way. Alternatively, you can stay in the castle and face the mobs head-on.

3. If you chose to escape, will you take What? and PaW with you?

1. Yes, I want to know. Only if this does not decide something else, though. I want to know for curiosity's sake and because I care about her, not because I will judge her.

2. I will take the passage underground. It is the safest bet right now.

3. I will. I may need either or both of them, and it would not be wise to leave them behind with the mob.

 

Alright Makaze, I've got a truth for you now. It's a little something like Jayn's but I'm unoriginal, so meh.

The Toy

You're a human who sees all other humans as toys, just as if you were a child and the world were your toybox. As every child does, you have a favorite toy that you don't want anyone to have. Even though it's always changing, you're particularly fond of the toy you have now, and you're always watching this one. [1] You are, after all, protective of your play things.

Recently, this special toy has been getting close to another human, a human you're not particularly fond of [2], but you've been watching from only a distance, continuously thinking of what you're going to do to keep your favorite toy from getting too attached to some other human. [3]

[1] Who is this person that's you're favorite toy. It can be anyone that you're acquainted with.

[2] Who is this person that you don't like? It can be anyone you're acquainted with.

[3] What do you intend to do about this person?

 

1. Either Lili or Saxima. I cannot pick a favorite between the two.

2. I have no competitors in Lili's case. I would have said both Heinlein and "the old man" at times, but not now. In Saxima's, there are myriad people, but it is mostly her friend Lauren that upsets me.

3. I would blackmail them. I would force them to back off or live in fear of my hand.

Difficult question to answer... You should know why...

Which KHV members would you like to interact with more, and why?

It's been asked, but not to me.
I'm not sure what I'd change, since very few things that I'd be able to change would directly affect me, and if I was going back just the once, I wouldn't use it on something massively world-changing, because that could negatively affect some people.
Most likely, I would simply stop myself from speaking to a certain person from years ago. Their existence caused me a lot of pain, and mostly for curiosity's sake I would see how I turned out without them.

 

Yay, now I get to give you something good~

Chapter One: Separated

You have a twin brother [1], and you love each other very much, but the thing is, you two are humans turned lab experiments, taken away from your mom and dad when you were very young. Every day, you both go to hell and back, but so long as you have him, nothing else in the world matters – as long as you have him, you can go through any and all hell, and you will, so long as that means you can stay with him. [2]

One day, as you two are running tests for the scientists who over watch you, you notice that there are a few strangers in suits with them, observing you both as well. You tell your brother this and he shrugs it off as not really important, but you stick it in the back of your mind for later thinking. Nothing happens with the men, and then they leave. Your brother is probably right, it's nothing.

But then, they come again the next day, and again the next. Now you know something is up, and you mention it to your brother again and he tells you that he has been wary since they showed up a second time. For a few more days, they come, but nothing happens.

A week passes, two weeks, a month. Every day they're there, watching you and your brother. Both of you are formulating suspicions of what they want, but don't press too much on it.

One night later, you and your brother are in your shared room, when a doctor comes in [3], this one has always been fairly nice to you, and both you and your brother like them, they've never done you wrong, not really anyway. But tonight, they bear bad news . . .

In comes a man in a suit [4], and you're immediately intimidated. The doctor very, very briefly explains that you and your brother are being separated, and then, after more men in suits come it, they whisk your brother away to god-knows-where, him thrashing and fighting, and you trying to go after him in tears.

Your brother . . . Your only consolation in this cruel, cruel world . . . And he's gone now.

The doctor is sympathetic, but you don't care – your brother is gone. Then they offer you something that would help . . . They offer to erase your memories of him. What do you reply with? [5]

[2] What is the greatest length you would go for your twin, considering your deep affection for them?
