    *sigh* Fiiiine

I want to throw out one of those "We're so alike yet so different" lines but that's cliche'd and abstract. To use better words: The things we have in common surprise me, especially in the context of the things we don't. It's amusing to see us tackle situations with what seem to be radically different methods and come up with relatively the same results. I have to admit to some envy for you, as I feel you're as unique as me but much more situated in your identity and sense of self. Not as much as an outside observer might think, but to a greater degree than I am, at least. You're usually good for conversation and I like that you draw the line when you do or don't want something to happen. Cons: You keep trying to seduce me >:C

    And a Truth for you.

In Chess, how often do you play as the white pieces? How often as the black? Do you feel uncomfortable with either one? Do you play differently depending on your color? Why/how so?

You are going to be stranded on an island. You can take five books with you. What are they and why?

Truth or dare to the below?*

    Thank you.

    That is a good question.

I almost always play black. I like playing black because I like darker aesthetics and prefer night over day. I am less confident when I use white because I am not accustomed to using it. I do the same thing in checkers; I play a better game when I am on the darker side.

Plums: Decent boy. Lacking a strong personality, but he does not annoy me and has great taste. That is something.
Rienzel: Mediocrity. No strong personality, bad taste, and many annoying threads.
Marushi: Not all bad, but not all good, either. Her loyalty makes her actions annoying, because she could do much better than she does if she were more rational.
Excasr: Your avatar and signature are terrible and your posts are hard to read. I find you most annoying of the four.

The Bible, NIV~ Because it's the Bible, the living word of God, and I need it to get through each day.
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King~ Because it's my fav fictional book of all time, and there's a lot of reading material in that one book.
Smith of Wooten Major and Farmer Giles of Ham (Really two stories, but they're usually sold in one book, so I think it counts. ;D)~ They're two of my favorite short stories, I like to read them when I have nothing else to do, and I think they're fun and an easy read.
Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows~ Because it's just such a great story, and I love all the plot twists and great scenes, like when they rob Gringotts.
Foxes' Book of Christian Martyrs~ Heh, this one's a little wierd, but I like to read this book, I don't really know what I like about this book, but I love reading it.

You know for a fact that you are going to die within the next 24 hours. How do you spend your day? Who are the people you talk to, and what do you say? What are the places you go to, and why?

I would post on all of the sites that I frequent, talk to Lili and Saxima for the rest of the day, and generally contact everyone I know who might care of I die.

And then leave a will for my things.

I would do my best to meet Lili and Saxima, though I doubt I could do it. Because I love them, and would want them to see me before I died. Not enough time...

Will do a story one if I have the time and the condition is met. Otherwise, expect it short.

Break into a bank or other wealthy establishment, steal enough money to make a few trips... And/or sneak onto a plane to visit a few people.

    @Noroz;

Why do you think some people may assume you're conceited (what might you do to seem so), and why do you believe you do some of the things you do to come off that way?

Note; I personally don't have any opinion on the matter, I just see it brought up. xD

I'm glad you asked, and I will respond with a long post. It may be repetitive, but that's just how it is.

It's a mask. I am very good at faking confidence. My real confidence is less than zero, and to make up for it, I make myself come off as very, very confident, basically to the extent of being conceited. The only ones who consider me to be conceited are the ones who don't know me very well.

For example, I tell people how charming I am, how talented I am, and that I can get all the women I want, etc, which in reality, I know, is a giant lie. It's a part of my humor/persona. I joke a lot about it. For example, I tell many people how Sabby wants me, etc. etc., which most people here, she and I know is a bunch of bull. However, it is a fun thought to play with.

I am very different towards the people I know and open up to, and the people I don't really know. I like the persona I have because it lets me know who judges me quickly, before actually talking over an extended time with me. It also makes me talkative and social, because even though I may come off as conceited to people who don't know the true me, which I honestly think may be less than 5 people, I enjoy it.

It's not me trolling or anything, it is me making up for the lack of confidence I have. Basically, I know I can hit a note when I sing, but I don't consider myself a great singer. I don't consider myself beautiful, I don't consider myself all-knowing (Though the real me, and the persona have very strong principals and believe strongly that I am right), I don't consider myself that talented, nor interesting. My persona, however, may be a bit more interesting and easier to talk to than the real me. The person in the Discussion section and Help with Life section are more who I really am than the one in the Spamzone.

So yeah, I enjoy the persona I have created. The persona is the Noroz in the Spamzone. Sure, it is a part of me, but it is not how I act or think away from the keyboard. However, the real me, not the persona, is not the person who smiles each morning to people I don't necessarily know. However, I enjoy making others smile. I enjoy using my persona to make my true self happy. If I am using my persona, I don't seem that insecure.

It's easier for me to be this persona, to wear this mask. I have a lot of problems that I don't want others to know about, because I find it foolish for others to worry about me. Also, I want to appear stronger and better than what I know I am, which is part of the real me's pride. I am very proud and try not to appear weak before anyone, which in reality I am.

It does perhaps make me come off as childish and conceited, but it doesn't bother me much. As long as people can tell that I'm being serious, it doesn't hinder me from anything. I'm 20 years old, and fairly knowledgeable, especially when it comes to emotional issues, because I've been there. I've been depressed, I am currently suffering from general anxiety disorder, I've been in relationships that have crashed and burned, I've been walked on, I've been abused by people I thought were my friends (not sexually or physically).

However, when I'm online, I don't wish for people to know me for that all the time. The real me is the one behind the mask. If people bother to look for who is behind the mask, I will reward them by being a loyal, and trustworthy friend, which I take great pride in. If they don't wish to find out who I truly am behind the mask, so be it.

Sorry about the long post, haha, it's probably repetitive, but oh well.
