True friends?

To me, a true friend is someone who will stick by you through thick and thin, help you when you need it, and will accept you no matter what your preference, race, religion, etc, and even hang out with you even if some people say it's uncool.

 

Someone who after a time you effortlessly get on with. You don't need to work at the relationship because you work perfetly together already. Not to say everything will be perfect or that you will be perfect but you'll be perfect but the bond will be harmonious and will last even over the span of years not seeing them.

I have a few relationships like that, I don't need to hide who I am, but just be natural and they accept me for it.

In my life it seems at times like I (magnetically) attract people around me who I get on well with me, and are generally good people. THat or I'm so damned charmiong they flock around me.

 

A true friend? the one who knows you... ask them a question about yourself they can sanswer it correctly. The one who you trust and who trusts you in return. The one who cares for you and knows how to have fun. Also having things in common helps a friendship.... in my opinion

 

For me it's the latter.

Back on topic;
You define it yourself, but my definition is that its someone trustworthy who you are comfortable around as well. Two of the things I look for with my girlfriend(s).
