Trolls

You guys love torturing trolls/ Mary/Gary-Sue creators. When you tell them that their character is a Sue, and then they totally take it as an insult and then other people agree with you and you find this your opportunity to keep criticizing and it ends up like torture to their small little peanut brains?
I love doing that. You guys ever done? Like to do? Wanna do now?

I've seen it happen, but I find it to be kinda mean, especially if the writers themselves aren't too b*tchy...

 

It depends, are they being all out mean, or are they just as crappy as the victim?
Its only fun when the criticizer is being nice and the Sue is being mean.

 

Yeah, that is fine, especially if you're actually giving constructive criticism that the Suethor calls flaming... But ganging up on some poor 14-year-old who's just writing for fun isn't funny at all imo.

 

But what if they are writing badly?

 

unfortunately for me I always seem to get trolled. It's not fun, and the people don't seem to get it through their tiny brains that they need to stop. I'm speaking of course about the people on Pokemon Battle League

 

It's not a crime to write bad, and I'm not saying you can't say negative things about a badly written story, but sometimes it escalates to saying that the person should never write again and they should have their internet rights revoked. I've seen some death threats too (I know they're rarely serious, but it just seems unnecessarily cruel).

I usually give serious criticism if I give it at all.

 

Nothing of that sort no, and I agree with Chesterfield Snapdragon McFistycuffs. But some 14 Year-olds are just too much, some may try to change and over years they do! But theres the ones who use all caps, hide comments,doesn't even reply with correct grammar and are overall a spoiled brat in real life. I find most trolls/Sues on DA, and its hideous! Everyone tries to be nice, but sadly their attempts go un-heeded and such accounts are banned, abandoned and or still being stubborn. And heck! some are even 18 Year-olds to Twenty year olds!
I guess you can call me cruel for my weird hobby, but I hate Sues a lot and wish to help people.

 

The type you describe I have no problem with someone trolling, they need a reality check xD

@Makaze, yeah I try to do the same, sometimes it helps, sometimes they ignore me.

 

Exactly! I call myself a Mary-sue Cop, you see a sue, I'll do my best to help that person, if its they are troll, well thats just a plus for me!
