It's a sketch so it's hard to say it lacks detail and clarity without being redundant. However, the tree in the back ground looks kinda bad, as in not like a tree should look. Otherwise the piece is very simple design-wise and really doesn't have anything in particular to recommend or detriment it. One thing I would do though is straighten out the top half you know the above the forearm part on the left side, it looks funny, and I'd also thin out the neck a bit.
Why does he remind me of Light?? O.o Make him hold the Death Note and there you have it. xDD Anyway, this is an excellent sketch, love...very nice. If you were to actually sit with it and work on the picture in detail, it would've looked great! [Care to work on it, hun? I can bet that the final product would look sexahh ;)] The general idea of the picture is great and I really love the setting of the picture as well...it's soooo mellow. The tree really adds to the tranquility which is just great for the effect the picture might have on a viewer. Considering that this is a sketch, I cannot give you much criticism, but I can tell you that if you do wish to continue to work on the picture, adding more to the background would be great. Like adding some small bushes or a distant tree behind the wall and stuff. And his neck really does seem to be a little thick, and a little too long. Well, other than that... I'm done. If you do work on the picture, be sure to post the final product. ^_^-
No way? *cough* :sideways: Uhh... uhhh *blush* But hun, I honestly cannot see the character as a girl. First she's wearing male attires [which is fine], but I guess I missed the little pointy thing on her chest and considered it a fold on her jacket rather than her breasts. xD Second, her expression and face structure has absolutely no feminine hint to it. Lastly her hair also resembles that of a man. T_T I suppose that you could've added some wings on her hair to make it seem a little feminine, but it's her expression that really makes her seem like a male. Sorry hun, for the gender confusion... but it was honestly hard to tell. D8
