    I saw it a few days ago when it came out over here.

    I liked it, not really an interesting story, it changed the direction too much IMO but the giant fighting robots was what I went for and giant fighting robots was what I got. I even got small fighting robots, some comedy as well. I was pleased with it, not exactly an amazing film but I got what I wanted from the robot cast list. Main downside was that there was a desert, not a big fan of deserts in my movies and games especially if there was a desert in the first one.

    I've seen the reviews but not the movie yet. It gained about 50% good (or less) from what I've read so far but who knows, my opinion sometimes differs than those of the critics. After all, reviews are always biased. I'll post up a quick thought about what I thought of this movie after I see it later tonight.

    See it. The story wasn't that bad honestly, and yeah it could've been better, but there wasn't any over the top ridiculousness attempt at humor like the first one. The fights were incredible, and the action starts pretty much at the beginning of the movie.

    The only minor complaint I have was that a few weren't mentioned by name, but it's understandable since it'd probably get confusing since there's no blatantly clear distinction as there was in the original series.

    Music was also incredible, it really added to the overall movie. And I really like New Divide, even though I'm a bit unsure of Linkin Park's new stuff.

    I didn't mind the desert too much, it allowed Scorponok to come back (...>_>) and does have a lot of ancient ruins, which Bay took advantage of.

    And Soundwave did not disappoint me. 8D

    Go see it, I can almost guarentee it'll be worth it.

    xD
    He doesn't have a big part, but Frank Welkner voices him, and that alone makes it a thousand times better.
    Though I suppose you could technically say he had a large role, but...yeah, see the movie, maybe you'll get what I'm trying to say then. xD

    Dunno what movie they were watching, but that did not deserve one damned dirty ape out of five.

    I was disappointed that you Soundwave didn't get into the fight >.>

    I have a feeling it was related to the politics/patriotism mentioned in the movie. You know how the media gets with that. >_>;;

    Yes, but he was sort of directing the fight. :3
    And they kept Ravage his, so I was happy.
    AND RAVAGE HAD HIS GUN THINGS LIKE THE ORIGINAL TOY. For some reason that made me really happy. xD;;

    No, more like they tried reviewing the storyline (lol) and point out every error they could rather than actually enjoy a movie.

    Did anyone else notice Bumblebee used an excerpt of Forrest Gump?

    Yeah! Midnight showing! :D It was really good. The special effects were awesome, and so was the cast.

    There was just one thing that killed it: the New Moon trailer. ><

    I just watched this movie and it kicked ass. They did a great job on it. I thought some of the 'innuendo' stuff was unneeded, but all in all, I enjoyed the movie and it had some rather common plot scenarios that were in the old cartoon, but done in very well with the plot of the movie.

    I loved how all the parents were freaking out during the movie when they said all those curse words.

    Mudflap and Skid should win an award for show stealer and best lines.

    This.
    And that.

    In my opinion, just slightly better than the first one. The ending shoulda featured moar Bumblebee but the rest of it decently satisfied me.

    Then again, they should have added in more screen time for about 90% of the other Autobots and Decepticons (and less of the humans). However, I suppose we did need the humans to explain what was going on. :|

    However, Megs + Starscream fighting = YES.
