358/2 Days Touch screen features

can't imagine what they'd use the touch screen for. :/ still, it would make an interesting gameplay, yeah? maybe for minigames or something or for another way of fighting? ugh, why can't this just be on PS?

 

Maybe u could lock to targets easier somehow or make use of Xigbar's sniper by skimming the pen or finger over the screen or something...

 

yeh that was annoying but the new game sounds interesting

 

Don't get your hopes up on the touch-screen feature. Noruma just mentioned that the game won't have anything to do with the stylus.

i don't want battles to be stylus based and Nomura did say he wants this game to be like other Kingdom Hearts so I doubt battle will be stylus based....

maybe skipping dialogue boxes and using the menu should be touch screen feutured and hopefully some decent minigames???

Maube the touch screen could be used for the special atacks of the characters, like tap the screen as fast as you can to summon a lot of water clones of Demyx or even tap the screen to choose where the frozen tiles would appear with Vexen. So many ideas, so little uses.

 

didnt TN say that its not going to use the touch screen? probably not touch FEATURES but probably use it to show something...or I guess show something and use a crappy touch feature like NSMB......

 

Yes, he did... which means NO touchscreen use... which I'm perfectly fine with... a touchscreen has NO feeling of KH to it...

Yep. I agree, it wouldn't be like playing the PS2, which fits the Kingodm Hearts spirit.

 

Touch is nice for pinpointing detail, but for movement it is painful, as I am left handed, so I need to use stylus in my left hand, and control movement with the D-pad. Also if movement is done on the touch screen then it does not work out. Leave the Touching to Nintendo.

 

Maybe the game may have hidden mini-games. Thats the reason why TN wants to use the TS.

 

What part of "no touchscreen features" don't you guys get?

 

I think that the reaction commands are gonna be the touch screen, or where you move. For Xigbar, it's probably the shooting.
