Toothpaste fixes scratched discs!

    i'm quite sure that the water would not ruin it at all. and as for those who are asking if a certain brand should be used, im pretty sure that any can be used... though you might just want to wait for a reply from Deathspank.

    I seriously wouldn't want to prove or disprove this theory since I'd wreck a disk even more if it didn't work. I'd much rather use a disk cleaner. It's not cheaper, but it's better.

    Whoa, that's sweet. I guess Axel Bloodburn is correct but I have a PS disk which doesn't work so I can try on that, since I don't mind losing it.

    I gotta try that on my copy of KH2 but just to be sure how much toothpaste do you put on the disc.

    but if u mess it up, then the cd/dvd/game/whatever-it-is really wont work @ all anymore :eek: XP

    Guys, sorry to burst your bubble but it's only certain types of toothpaste that work. There can't be gel in the toothpaste, and it can only be mint flavored toothpaste. Also, you'd need a very specail and soft cloth to be able to get the toothpaste off without breaking the disk.

    Yeah well I tried it on my Tony Hawk Pro Skater games and they work so well! And I geass you can use any kind of brand I geuss. But I recommend...*Goes check tooth paste* Colgate tooth paste.
