No Thanks Too many Organization XIII topics and character reference laziness in the RP section

Go to the area and go to 'Extended Rpgs'. There you could write up an Original Rpg idea if you wanted that would be rp'd out seriously. Some in there come from other things like Star Wars but others are entirely created out of the GM's imagination and the player characters are all originals.

 

It's not about changing the fact that it is about Kingdom Hearts. Since it IS Kingdom Hearts, I'm just saying that series itself revolves more around the Disney characters themselves than the Organization XIII and Final Fantasy characters. To be honest, Disney has better villains than a man with a suggestive name looking around for hearts, hearts, and rage

Characters aren't made in a day. As a guy who once made new characters on a monthly basis, I know this. It doesn't hurt to think about what the character is going to look like without ripping someone else off

 

But what can you do to change what the public finds appealing? It's rather obvious that the Organization has become everyone's favorite, and therefore they are used EVERYWHERE. It's also true that Disney had true villains, but everything works according to the public, and the public love their Organization members.

But people have become too lazy to even do that.

 

You have to understand, that the Organization members are like what we call a drug. We get addicted. We can never get enough. And in turn, RPs with their characters, who are a very colorful group, are made with them. To stop this will be like taking away the people's heroin (yeah, nice imagery), and they are going to counter and get pissed off that they have to put up less of those threads. If that order goes to pass, nobody is going to be happy with it, I'll tell you that much. And as people said, all the Org. XIII threads that have the group name on it, doesn't always mean is about THEM. They are included, but it trails off to even OC characters leading, or KH heroes, so really, there isn't a problem that others haven't said. There are a variety of RPs that pertain to real life, or originality, so is not like is full of them. There's majority, yet is not the only thing there.

I don't know what else to tell you, or what any of us can.

And about the art, I don't think is a big deal. Is just to get a precise visual of what your character looks like so everyone can use their imagination more and see her/him better when posting. If they describe the art as well, that wouldn't be originality either. To make it a simple solution, we can have under the pictures DO NOT OWN if they don't as a RP rule, if that quells anything. We can't have the artist's name unless taken directly, because those whole things are thrown in any Image search engine and Photobucket.

Otherwise, I think we all know the decision to this now.

 

How about a section specifically for all these organisation RP's,It would be easier.

 

she/he/it has a point. Ripped art is something needed to be cracked down upon. Some people post images on art sites and explicitly say "Do not steal".

I see quite a few images not referenced here. While they could be owned by the RPer, I doubt it.

I would not want my artwork (Non-existent, but still) stolen/randomly used on other sites, I think we have a responsibility to make sure the images are at least referenced.

The first area you go to IS for KH Rpgs so no, there is no need for a separate sub-forum for Organization XIII Rpgs. Really guys, this is pointless. They aren't -all- Org XIII Rpgs there.

 

This is being closed, RP's are for everyone to enjoy, we don't make rules saying "have fun but not too much similar fun"

People can make as many org 13 rp's as they want.
