    My reply here is..
Yes, I felt it is getting quite annoying that practically all people are getting keyblades. It's annoying me because getting a keyblade is supposed to be special. Certain people are supposed to have keyblades.
Sora, because he's the main character and was the second-choice for the keyblade. Riku, because he was the original chosen one for the keyblade. Mickey, well considering he's totally bad@$s in the games, and that he's the lead spokes-mouse for the Disney company. So, that makes sense. Roxas makes sense, Xion makes sense[XP], and then I dont know about others cause I do not meet the proficiency of playing BBS. Kairi with the agument that she is a part of Sora's heart or whatever, makes sense. But she never really received one.

But to me, I just hope it doesn't turn into season 3 of digimon where every child character obtained a digivice and had a digimon partner. Cause that was annoyinga nd really turned me off when I watched th season.

Yeah, my brother, he has completely immursed himself in the game [and I haven't], or I believe that he has. But he told me that whoever was planning to change KH into more of a Final Fantasy series. I don't know if that is specificaly true, but it's possible.

But lightsabers was a completely different concept. To my understanding, lightsabers were the trademark that Jedis had come to passage to make their own lightsaber. All Jedis will become full jedis when they are able to make their own. Generally, jedis in training get old lightsabers passed down or whatever...
But the fact that the lightsabers were supposed to show the passage from student to teacher, and the Jedis themselves were a special group of people.

but i don't want a huge special group of people that can weild keyblades.

(( =/ it is true, I thought keyblades were meant to be rare... Then out of no where it was like rabbit breeding! >_<; geez, I think Kairi should have NOT gotten one, that made me very mad some reason when playing the game... -_-; Also at the part, where did Riku get that spare keyblade from? Maybe I am just confused in general *shrugs* oh forgot I was cooking wontons darn it! X_x; ))

Keyblades aren't so different than Lightsabers now. Lightsabers are given when one becomes a Jedi, keyblades are given when one hits puberty.
But you only get a Keychain if you're REALLY special!
    Unless you're Sora
then you get one every time you meet someone new

I don't really care, Sora still has the coolest keyblades.

Terra can just "control" his..way better.

    Yea, I don't care, though.

I never really understood why the creators of Kingdom hearts just had to go and give Kairi a keyblade-I mean, think about it-have you seen her keyblade? LAME! xD Keyblades had much more meaning to them when only sora possesed one-creating almost the whole story thus far

I don't think so because remember what Xigbar said, "you weren't half like the other ones," meaning there were more then just sora as a keyblader. And Kairi's wasn't really Kairi's it was Riku's he gave it to her.I think everyone who has a keyblade should have a keyblade. Riku, Sora, Mickey, Terra, Aqua, and Ven. Xion and Roxas are special, its really not that much. Riku and Sora had a strong heart, Mickey found his in Kingdom Hearts. I don't know about Terra, Aqua or Ven.

Kairi doesn't have a keyblade. Yes she has a pure heart, but that's not the same thing as a strong heart which is needed to wield the Keyblade. What occured was simple. Riku handed his 2nd Way to Dawn to her, he was basically dual wielding and letting her hold it.

Now I know someone is going say that if that was the case it would have poofed back to Riku like it did to Jack Sparrow and Leon, unless Riku wanted it to stay. In both cases the keyblade was sent back to Sora for a reason. In Jack's case it was a simple trick on the pirate and in Leon's case he didn't have strong a heart compared to Sora to use the keyblade and it returned to it's owner. But there have been many cases of other people holding the keyblade when it should have poofed away.
    • Riku and Roxas @ Deep Dive, Riku held on to Roxas's keyblade for a full battle
    • Sora hold Way to Dawn in the battle against Xemnas
    • Roxas lending Xion his Keyblade when she lost her ability to do so on a misssion.
My point here is this, other people are capable of holding the Keyblade if the owner wishes it.

My final piece of evidence is this
