Does anyone else think the Kingdom Hearts storyline is extremely confusing? I STILL don't know exactly what happened after the first game. I suppose it's because nothing in the story is explicitly said...ever.

PS...could someone PM me and try explaining Roxas' ENTIRE background to me? It's too convulted for me to comprehend.

I guess......I dont find it confusing.
It might be because Ive watched the cut scenes so many times and read a lot about it >.<
But, I guess it could be confusing.

As for Roxas....I cant help you there >.<

Well, the first Kingdom Hearts, yes. I need to replay it because I don't even remember some of the scenes anymore... but my CD is cracky and gets choppy in high-quality scenes...

About Roxas, sure, I'll send you a PM about that...

I think its pretty easy to follow. Though parts are purposely left out for fan speculation and such.
As for Roxas' FULL background info, we wont REALLY know that until 358/2 Days comes out. But basically, he was created when Sora stabbed himself in KH1. He was found by Xemnas, in Twlilight Town, shortly after he was born. He became part of the Organization. He battles Riku once and wins. He then leaves the Organization because he wanted to find out more about Sora and why the keyblade chose him (Roxas). He battles Riku again. Riku wins. DiZ and Riku take Roxas back to Twilight Town, where DiZ turns Roxas into data and places him into a fake TT that is on DiZ's computer/Sora's mind. and then the stuff you do when you play Roxas. Tadah! (man do i hate that character >.>)
But yeah. I do love this game's storyline though, so interesting!

I did find it confusing when the King was talking about the Ansem the wise/Xehanort's Heartless/Xemnas relationship, but I found it alot less confusing when I finished the game.

It wasn't TOO confusing. Yeah, you might have had to watch the scenes over and over again, but it wasn't something that took a while to understand. Most of it was explained. And if some of it wasn't, it probably will be in the near future.

I had a hard time with it too at first, but I re-watched cutscenes snd read up on it, and that helped. It's a pretty complicated game, still.

I didn't really find it that confusing (am I the only one who perfectly understood Mickey the first time around when he was explaining the Ansem/Xehanort/Xemnas thing?). You might have to watch cutscenes over and over to completely understand it, but all in all, it's not that complicated a game.

The main thing that makes it so complicated, is the fact that some characters who arnt in the Org, where the Org cloaks, making you think thier in the Org.

I found it pretty easy to understand. But the creators wanted to make it suitable for younger kids and as for adults. To have some conflict like regular people. Just a couple of things confused me when I'm like "WTF is Namine " in KH2 because I haven't fully finshed COM XD

LOL, well, I know it's not THAT complicated. Mostly it was because I haven't played CoM. I started but got bored because the system bored me to tears, so I read the second volume of the CoM manga instead.

It's complicated, but not TOO complicated. It's much easier to understand if you played all the games (including the Final Mixes).

I thought the very beginning was slightly on the confusing side, but that's probably because I hadn't seen through CoM yet. About a quarter of the way into playing kh2 I took a quick break for CoM and after that the story line for kh2 cleared up.
