"No, it's fine." He said, speaking in an even lower, softer voice. After an hour past by. "The pasta and tomato sauce is ready." He said softly. He turned off the stove and poured the tomato sauce on the pasta. He mixed it and out it on the table. "Dinner is served." He said lowly and walked away. "You can get as much as you like."

 

"Your going to eat to right?" she asked

 

He turned slowly. "I'm not hungry right now..." He said, turning away.

 

"Hey. Are you ok?" she asked

 

He turned around again. He paused. "I'm fine..." He said lowly and left the room.

 

Angelina went after him "I'm sorry if I said something wrong."

Gino turned around again. "Please...just leave me be." He said, walking away from Angelina with sorrow in his eyes. He let out a long sigh and turned around again. "You don't want me mad..." Gino said, turning back around as a tear drop fell from his cheek. He paused and closed his eyes.

 

Angelina sighed maybe she should just call her sister. She picked up her phone and dialed the number.

 

Gino looked up and opened his eyes. He started to walk and headed for the couch. "I'm...sorry...Angelina..." He quietly said. More tears fell from his eyes. He looked to her as she dialed a number. "Please...forgive me..." He whispered. The pillow was stained qith his tears.

 

Dev picked up her phone. "Ang? What's up? How's Rome?"

 

"I'm not in Rome anymore. I came home with a friend thinking I would find you here, but no you just left. I mean you didn't even leave a note." she said angrily. She looked over at Gino and smiled at him hoping he wasn't angry with her

 

"I left a note in the keys cabinet. Should have been the first place you looked. You aren't making a mess, are you?" Dev sighed.

 

"No I am not making a mess. Anyway...where are you? And are you with anyone?" she asked

 

"A couple friends. I'll let you know when we get a plan. In the meantime....try not to sleep with the enemy, okay?" she said, checking the time. "Last time that wasn't so fun."

 

"Oh shut up that was one time. It won't happen again. Well whatever I'll leave you to your friends. Just make sure you come home in one piece ok?"

 

"That hasn't happened yet." Dev laughed. "Be safe too. Maybe you'll find some cute American." She hung up the phone, stuffing it back into her pocket.

 

Angelina went over to Gino. "Um are you ok?" she asked "You don't have to talk to me if you don't want to."

 

Gino looked up from the pillow. "I'm fine..." He said. "Sorry 'bout before..."
