I don't care how old this show is. It's still fun to watch. So, anyone else here who wanted Tom to catch Jerry after trying for so long.

One of my favorite shows I watched as a kid. And if that makes me old, I don't care.

As for wanting Tom to catch Jerry, not really. But I really enjoyed episodes where the two joined together against a common foe.

It doesn't really make you old my brother watches this and he's 8. Really you never wanted him to catch Jerry at least once? and yeah I really like episodes when they work together.

This was and is one of my favorite movies. I loved the show but this is my favorite because it was the first time either of them actually spoke. Was it the only time they spoke? Anyway, good show, great movie.

Didn't the newer versions of Tom & Jerry come out with like 3 or more movies? and it wasn't the only time they spoke there are a few episodes when they actually talk but more often than not they don't.

Now that I think of it, there may have been a few instances where I thought Jerry was being a dick and I rooted for Tom

That is exactly what I meant Jerry can be a real bully sometimes.

I felt so bad for Tom when I watched this. It was like the Sulvester and Tweetie gig though so I kind of got use to it. It was a great laugh when I was really down.

I kind of do feel sorry for Tom because sometimes Tom is just minding his own business and then Jerry comes along and decides to be a ******. Tom is the main character so I kind of do root for him a bit.

I always liked the show! It was pretty great and I actually still watch it on occasion. Poor Tom though.

I don't care for the newer versions. I prefer the classical violent Tom&Jerry. I can't really remember whether they themselves talked or not. I know that the other characters, for instance Jerry's nephew and Tom's cat friends talked. There was one moment, if I recall correctly, Tom was singing a song to try and get the heart of that white cat he liked. Other than that, they talked more in the movie than they ever did before. That movie is my favorite Tom&Jerry movie. The other's don't even come close in my book.

  14. I like the moldy oldy T&J, my favorite episode was when Tom "Died" and in order to go to the place up top, had to make Jerry sign a contract agreeing that he forgave Tom for his past wrongdoings to him, only for Jerry to rip the contract to shreds, and for it to end up as noting but a dream. Back when the violence was prime was when T&J had their prime. I also liked the trap builder for T&J that CN had on their website. I even play it every so often.
    God I feel old.

People were considering banning Tom and Jerry because there were scenes were they smoked. Not because of the intense amounts of violence it has or anything, has anyone seen the episode were they both commit suicide?

Yea, Tom loses his girlfriend to this other cat and Jerry is telling the story, at the end, Jerry says how he still has a girl, but then you see her drive away with this other mouse, and then they both sit on a railroad track and you can hear a train in the background.

  19. Whelp. There goes my childhood. I never knew that they could have Tom or Jerry do that of all things. I only ever remember the chase scenes and the Hammer-to-Toe bits they did.

That wasn't the last episode mind you, they just forgot they ever killed themselves. They were sick minded individuals, apart form the awsomeness of proper Tom & Jerry.
