    How'd I know you'd bring that yup :|

    I think we should conspire to try making a good, creepy modern horror game. Two different view-points working together.

    Oh, if anyone hasn't, go play Yahtzee's "Days" series, it's really good.

    Yes, he made some games that completely free to play, or you can pay abit and I think get some extra scenes of dialogue, he made the Days series which is 5 days a stranger, 7 days a sacrifice, trilby's notes and 6 days a skeptic (in that order), interesting plot and it does have its own Slenderman reference thing going on.

    Awesome, the story gets a bit batshit over the place at times, so make sure you play them in the correct order or your head caves in.

    True story.

    Cool.

    Also, have you played Lone Survivor yet? Another example of survival-horror done right I think. Not free, but probably pretty cheap.

    But how exactly can we do that? We'd have to make sure the only separation between the character and the player is the screen. Beyond that, I've got nothing.

    VR and you have to play with 8 friends who use items to affect you physically the entire time.

    Only got $1.52 in my Steam wallet. Bought KOTOR and Witcher 2 ;.;

    Perhaps have a combat system that only delays enemies, rather than killing them (like fighting Pyramid Head in Silent Hill 2). Keep health items to a rarity, and have enemies deal quite a bit of damage (not too much though, as that would get really annoying really fast). Have a variety of different environments of differing lighting (a well-lit hospital alone can be quite creepy, instead of having everything in the darkness). Keep the cast of non-hostile characters to a minimum. Have enemies that you can't really identify with real-life creatures (ambiguity of enemies creates mystery, and nothing is scarier than something you don't recognize from the real world WHICH IS WHY I DON'T FIND ZOMBIES CREEPY AT ALL). Make sure to space out encounters effectively to create paranoia in the player (no sign when enemies are near by, we don't want the player to know when to expect danger).

    More if you want me to go on.

    Lone Survivor was fantastic. The sound design was incredible. When the god damn zombies come at you and they sound like chainsaws.

    Moral of the story: Horror games are always scarier without a bunch of weapons.

    And the best part: they don't look like regular zombies at all. The first time I saw one, my reaction:

    Gotta remember to play it some more.

    I have a feeling only Libre will know what this game is...

    But we should all just play Illbleed.
