To the Healers/Clerics of MMORPGS.....

do u like being healers? i was wondering if it was boring just healing everyone over and over again. i would get bored if i was healer. and if ur alone, i found that in most games, the healers/clerics can't really fight well on their own. so....do u like ur class?

 

In Maple story, being a cleric is quite boring. But you do level easier than other mages. You do get used alot on the PQs as well. Personally, it usually sucks being a healer unless your looking to get into a guild quickly.

Being a healer would be good and bad, sure. I think it'd be boring, too. Not much to do but heal. *shrug* Agreeing with EM_89

 

Eh, it's not too bad for me. My guild always seem to give me enough cash to make sure I don't die too easily when I'm healing my party.

Healing is fun when you're with a party or a group. It feels good to be depended on sometimes. Alone? yeah, it must be boring.

As long as they type out the word 'please', there is little I have against healing people.

 

I agree. Nothing worse than a "Heal plz'er" as I call them. Well, there's them and the ones who STALK you asking for buffs and such. But, being the healer's fun for me!

Maybe it's because I have a Battle Priest.....never really tried the whole FULL SUPPORT thing. ^_^;;

 

wow, that does suck to have ppl to keep bugging u for powerup spells, lol. but u actually like it cuz u get to heal AND kill!

 

My younger brother is a cleric in Maple STory.He said that it is fun but I wonder why you guys say it isn't.It also adds up to your popularity as many people would like to be your friend.Now he is a priest and because of doom,it makes training more fun.

Yes.So many monsters in Maple Story are vulnerable to holy attacks.A few can die by healing. Holy Arrow is the best cleric ability.Priests have elemental resistance so it is a rather good job.

 

oh, healing monsters can hurt them as well. i guess that makes it easy for Clerics in Maple Story

 

I'm a druid in World of warcraft (Quit playing though...) and frankly I have fun healing...Yes I am crazy xD
