"Just don't go 'best friending' in here, people have a habit of not knocking."

Kai and Rox read their Hogwarts letter while Vincent was relaxing with a good novel.

 

"Get-on-the-f*cking-train-Jor-dan!"Lyra grunted trying to shove her brother onto the train


"But...its...summer!"He said,he'd stuck his arms out,so that he couldnt go in

 

"Get on the train now, or I'll hex off your nether-regions." Elle glared, jabbing her wand into his abdomen, dangerously close to the area in question. "Got it?" She growled.

Casey raised an eyebrow, he suddenly remembered exactly why he avoided upsetting his little sister with every fibre of his being.

 

"You wouldnt dare..."he said glaring at Elle,while crossing his legs over so the area was 'protected'

 

"Oh you know I would damn well dare." She snarled. "Now get your arse on that train or you won't have an arse either!"

"What worries me the most," Casey said, only half casually to anyone who might be listening to him. "Is just how blasé she is about this."

 

"Sadistic B*tch"he muttered allowing his sister to push him on the train


"Tell me about it..."

 

Elle muttered something angrily under her breath and followed the others onto the train. Quickly she grabbed the nearest vacant compartment and half-threw herself into the corner nearest the window. She folded her arms grumpily and glared moodily out of the window.

Casey nodded wordlessly, concerned for his own safety and so making sure not to say anything that would upset his sister further and bring down her wrath on him.

 

"what's wrong Elle?"Lyra asked looking at her worridly

 

"Nothing!" Elle said snappily, still glaring darkly out of the window.

"It'd probably be for the best if you just leave her..." Casey said quietly to his best friend. "When she's like this you won't get any sense out of her..."

 

"Ok...."she muttered

 

"Well, I think we should leave you to have some time alone. That's obviously what you want right now." Casey said cheerily to Elle, quickly pushing Lyra along to the next vacant compartment. Or at least what appeared vacant. In fact it was occupied by one, very blonde, young woman.

"Oh, you guys again." Conni said raising an eyebrow. "We just keep bumping into each other."

"Heh, it would appear that way." Casey said, stopping in his tracks and rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

 

"So...Um...where's Lily?"

 

"I think she's with some of her other friends." Conni said calmly, looking the newcomers up and down. "I haven't seen her since I got on the train, though I'm trying to stay out of the way as much as possible. Trying to avoid someone."

 

"Who?"Lyra asked "Oh,sorry...That was kinda rude...since you barely know me..."she laughed nervously

 

"A stalker of mine, I guess you could say." She said, a fed up sigh coming from her. "One of my 'friends' is a little too friendly..."

"Dad..." Casey muttered under his breath. The venom in his voice was almost visible.

 

"Oh."she said looking from Casey to Conni"do You want us to sit with you Untill Lily comes back?"

 

"I don't mind either way." Conni shrugged. "If you want to stay then stay, if you don't then don't."
