Time warp

"Maybe they're new?"

 

"You don't get transfer students with Hogwarts though." She said stopping and waiting for her friend at the top of the stage.

 

"Good point"she said,reaching the top "should we knock or what?"

 

"Might be a good idea, don't want to walk in on anything."

 

she nodded,going to the room Casey and Lyra were sharing,she knocked on the door


Lyra opened it "Um..Hi."she said

Lily eyed her again in her pajama's...which was too small in the chest area and leg length" You lot got hogwarts letters."

 

Casey finally sat up and looked over at the girls, he stretched and ruffled his golden blonde hair. He flashed a smile over at them. "Thanks."

 

"No problem..."Lily said following Lyra in the room,who'd walked over to hand Casey his letter,Lily sat down on Lyra's empty bed"Soo....how come we've never seen you before in school?"


Lyra glanced at Casey

 

Casey shrugged. "I guess we just sort of fade into the background." He said, taking the letter. He didn't believe they'd actually received the letters, and with their pseudonyms on them as well.

Conni quickly followed Lily over and sat down next to her.

 

"Uh-huh..."Lily said,she gave Conni her ' Do you believe this? ' Look

Lyra opened her letter,looking at it quickly how is it possible that we've got letters? Jordan's going to go nuts....in our time...summer just started....now he's got to go back to school

 

She shook her head and hugged her knees. "You lot have faces that we'd recognise." Conni said.

"Maybe we just passed under the radar, that sort of thing does happen."

 

"I doubt it....you look kinda familiar....you look alot like some of our family members."she said

"No we dont.."she said quickly

 

"I'm pretty certain we're not related." Casey chuckled. "We'd definitely know if that was the case."

 

"I know....Its just you look an awful lot like Conni's brother."she said to Casey

 

Casey, knowing what his uncle had been like at this point in time, couldn't help but look a little insulted and shocked. He'd never thought he looked anything like Scorpious, apparently he'd been very very wrong.
"Well, genetics can do odd things like that I guess."

 

"Hmm...I guess so.."she said

Lyra glanced at Casey,she didnt think he looked like his uncle,then again,she hadnt seen him properly,she sat down cross legged on Casey's bed

 

"I guess if you get to see him you'll realise how close it is..." She said quietly.

"I guess so." Casey said, ruffling his hair again.

 

"are you two going out?"Lily asked suddenly"sorry if thats too direct but You just seem so close....like boyfriend and girlfriend."

Lyra gaped at her mother for a second,turning a brilliant shade of red,so that was where Jordan got his forwardness from.

 

Casey blushed slightly and shook his head. "No, we're just friends. And we have been a while, more like siblings I guess." He explained.

"Bullsh*t." Conni giggled.

 

Lyra nodded"Our mothers are best friends....we grew up together."

Lily giggled

 

"Sounds a little too perfect to me." Conni said, raising an eyebrow.

Casey shrugged. "It's the truth."
