Time Travel is the best plot device in a gaming. Period.

Gentlemen, exhibit A as to why time travel spawns nothing but bad things.

Basically, Link was put into suspended animation until he was old enough to be the Hero of Time. Some people think that's not a form of time travel because they've forgotten that we're all travelling through time at a speed of one second per second.

 

Explain how he goes back in time then.

 

He doesn't go back in time, his time stream is reversed and he ends up in his time of origin. If he was truly going back in time, he wouldn't revert back to Kid Link.

 

Wind Waker was better.

 

if his time stream is the thing being reversed, wouldn't only his age change, and not the Year of point during the game.

Tonnes better, it's the best game in the series.

Yet he retains his memories. Only his age changes. The effect that time has on his consciousness is the same as if he traveled through time. Consider his body the time machine and there you go.

 

I hated all the brown and bloom the game had. Skyward Sword had it down perfect but **** motion control.
