Time to Rise Again

Shinji was amazed at Asuka's idea, it could very well work in their favour. "That's actually not a bad idea, considering it's solid evidence we need to show, but I never thought we'd be using our very enemy to help us in quest, it's almost ironic and funny in a way." SHinji said as he laughed a bit

"Well, I suppose we ought to try this thing out then, the quicker we get started, the sooner we can get ready to leave." SHinji said with a smile.

 

"I agree. We shuld make it look casual though. Maybe we could go and buy a healing item or two, make it look like we're just innocent kids. Then Asuka will say she forgot her jacket back here in the third district. She'll go out of sight and make the pool and we'll fight the heartless. No one will suspect a thing!"
Cat felt incredibly devious. She had come up with a great way to avoid any suspicion being placed on them by the locals and they'd be able to get what they needed for their trip.

 

"I might just say I left my bike back in the third district. It'd save me a hell of a lot of trouble by not having to move it," Asuka said. "Alright...let's put this into action."

 

"Agreed."
They walked out to the first district and went to the shop to buy some healing items. Cat drank a Hi-Potion just to fill herself up for the battle that would come soon enough.
"Hey, Asuka... weren't you gonna show us that new feature you added onto your bike? You can't show us if it's not here!"
Cat felt proud for coming up with this scheme and it was about to come into action.

 

"Okay, Cat, let's start Operation Travel.." SHinji said with a smile a she walked to the First District.

 

Asuka faked a laugh and said, "You're right, I'll go get it and bring it here, stay put."
With that, she went back towards the third district, but found an alley between the first and third district that had several crates in it. "Perfect," she thought, and after moving several crates aside, put her hand to the ground and created a small pool of darkness, no more than two feet wide. Asuka then moved the crates back in front of it, completely obscuring the pool from anyone that happened to pass by.
Running back into the first district, she shouted to Cat and Shinji, making sure anyone in the district could hear, "We've got trouble, those monsters are back and wrecked my bike. Let's go teach them a lesson!"
She hated being so loud and...fake, but it was necessary for their plan to work.

 

"Heh, piece of cake. We can take 'em down easy! After all..."
Cat made a big show of summoning her Keyblades so people could see that they were indeed real.
"it's probably me they're after!"
Cat ran towards Asuka and searched for any signs of Heartless. She saw shadows begin to appear near the center of the district. Right where anyone could see.
"Perfect," she thought. "things are going great. At this rate we'll have the bike ready in no time."
"All right Heartless scumbags! Prepare to die..."
Cat slashed at them with her Keyblades. After having drunk the Hi-Potion she felt good as new. She even made a show of using some Fire and Blizzard magic to take them out. Nothing too difficult.

 

"Okay Asuka, we're coming!" Shinji called out and ran towards her but then the Heartless came from the Third District's door, courtesy of Asuka 'accidently' leaving it open as it lunged at attack the defenseless woman as SHinji moved his arm and within it, Way to the Dawn appeared and sliced through it as he heard some gasps, some were talking about the Heartless that appeared but also of the weapon he held. "Well, let's show them how we do things." He said with a smile as he sliced another rone coming out.

 

"Awww, Shinji... can't you just leave them to me? You've always gotta hog the spotlight."
Cat loved getting to do this. Just to be able to be a total jerk without remorse or regret. She could hear people talking about how she had the Kingdom Key and how she was just as cocky as Sora used to be.
Heh, if they only knew how close Sora and I really are...
"Take this!"
She leapt at a Neoshadow, the first one to come out of the batch. She could hear little children cheer for them as they wiped out the heartless using their Keyblades. It looked like the pool of darkness had been depleted because after the Neoshadow came only a few shadows remained.

 

"Good thing we know how to use Keyblades," Asuka called out, still disliking making so much noise. She fought with a combination of her Keyblade and martial arts, which was effective against the weaker Heartless. She knew full well how to use strong magic, but wasn't fond of it. She prefered close combat, as Fenrir did massive damage to anything it made contact with. "Hey guys, we should regroup," Asuka said to the others, and when they were close enough together, she said, "I think we've made a big enough show, shall we lead them all back to the third district so I can close the pool?"

 

Cat just nodded her approval.
"We should pretend to feel tired and weakened and try to 'retreat' to the third district. It'll make the scenario more believable. Just wait for another Neoshadow and act like you're starting to get tired..."
Now she felt incredibly devious...

 

"Good idea Asuka and cat, I never take the spotlight at all, besides, you took the stronger ones yourself so at least be grateful for that!" SHinji said loudly and turned to the crowd. "We'd prefer it if you all stay here while we finish our business in that district, we'll return soon enough." he said as he held his keybalde high as the crowd chearring and Shinji ran in

 

Asuka nodded. She let a Neoshadow get a hit in on her, then sliced through it with her Keyblade. As she and the others went back to the third district, she said, "You two take care of any remaining Heartless, I'll go close the pool."
She then veered off the path to the alley where she originally placed the lure, trusting that the two younger wielders could take care of the Shadows.

 

"Well Cat, you heard her." SHinji said as he ran at some Shadows to cut them down with Way to the Dawn as he looked around for anymore.

 

Cat nodded. The plan was going perfectly. It was almost too good to be true. She found a few stray shadows and quickly cut them down with her Keyblades. Hoping that Asuka would close the pool soon. This was getting to be tedious...

 

"Hey Crimson," Luna pondered as she saw him standing there in though, "I think we should catch up to the others, don't you think so?"

Crimson was amazed! In less than a day, he met an old friend and made a new enemy. His intelligent mind couldn't just consider this a coincidence. He was well educated in the differnece between light and darkness. Obviously, someone was orchestrating this whole thing from afar. It could be the man Asuka countered with, but he sensed something much greater at work. He didn't want to rush into things. Luna snapped him out of his trance. "Oh, right."

Suddenly, Luna heard people talking through the background. "Keyblades man, actual Keyblades!" "Gotta watch out for those Heartless." Luna reacted, and so did Crimson. It was like a silent agreement between the two of them. They knew nothing of their friends plan, so they believed that they were in trouble. This was Luna's home and it was her duty to protect it. She knew Crimson had his onw priorities, but they would have to work together to save their new friends.

Other Information: Leon III, usually just called Leon, is the grandson of Leon I also known as Squall. After Leon I stopped being able to continue his job as a guardian of Radiant Garden he passed the name Leon, as a title, to his only son and then that son passed the name onto his son, which is Leon III. Keeping up the tradition Leon became a guardian of Radiant Garden and fights anything that may cause harm to the world his family has protected for three generations.

 

Asuka wasted no time in getting back to the pool, rather than moving the boxes again she simply punched through them. Summoning her Keyblade, she cut down the Shadows gathered around the pool, then pointed Fenrir into the center of the darkness and made a locking motion with the key. The pool faded, and no more Heartless appeared. She ran back out to Cat and Shinji, noticing that quite a few people - including a shop owner or two - followed them to the third district. There were only a few Heartless remaining then, positioned between Cat and Shinji, and decided to finish the fight by cloaking Fenrir in a Fire spell and hurling it at the remaining Shadows, destroying all of them.

"Well... i'm glad that's over. To be honest I was getting kinda bored from the lack of variety. I mean aren't there any other Heartless here besides Shadows, Neoshadows, and that pathetic Guard Armor?"
Cat's last statement caused just the commotion she had been hoping for. People began to question if they were fit to be Keyblade wielders but they also were impressed at the thought of a few kids taking down the guard armor.

 

Shinji dismissed Way to teh Dawn after Asuka elminate dthe last ones as he put his hands behind his head. "Well, I'd say this district is safe from those Heartless now, good thing we got here before it got worse though." Shinji said with a smile at his new friends. "But then again, it's nothing we can't handle if people's lives are at stake." He said with a grin.
